eoc is trash ruined box staking takes a month.

If you actually play it for a few hours, eoc is quite fun. Just slay, it's entertaining.

 

It turned to shit when they decided to listen to users last time and return wildy and free trade. Half the idiots didn't even know what they were voting for or rioting for, and look what happened, wild came back and completely ate shit. Free trade came back and completely sky rocketed the economy and made everything become 100x easier to get.

They needed to implement it in there own way, instead of listening to retarded 12 year old users who didn't know what they were even voting for. Free trade should of came back, but in a regulated way. Meaning, you can't just trade Bills to accounts that were created, a limit of xBills traded off an account at once time (that way they could detect it, and then look into it and ban the RWT's before they have sold it, and had it disbursed). Wildy was a complete dead end when they brought it back, I've only ever used it for my 99str 60 att pure, rushing people and then teleporting, wasn't good for much of anything else besides risk fights (which you could do at the duel arena). They should of left PVP worlds, original bounty hunter, and kept wild too. Dumb idiots listening to 12 year olds band wagoning is what got the company in this mess in the first place. People would eventually adapt to it and love it more, but instead everything came back, and was never used properly as the people voted for, thus making the system fail.


If anything, this was an opportunity for the game to progress, and not fall into the black pit it was heading towards.

EOC sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i mean its fun for a while but then its always the same crap with the abilities, like always the SAME abilities, i d rather be able to spec with zamorak godsword, get bored of it and go spec with dragon claws or something like

 

Of course it sucks if you plan on Boxing all day long. Go out and play game before you ridicule it for being "trash"

 

You still can do boxing, just turn abilities off by staking.

 

Well it has gone down a lot since you last played which is generally agreed by everyone on this forum but I suppose Runescape had to change to cope with newer MMO`S and it`s competitors. Just think about it this way. If it hadn`t of changed since 2006 when everyone enjoyed it it would of soon became very boring and it would be a dead game by now .

The Wowscape theory has become contagious, personally my only upset with EoC is that it has derailed a majority of free bots.

 

Meh. If free trade never came back, we'd never be in this massive EoC shitstorm anyway.

I quit when solomon's general store came out anyway, so this doesn't affect me.

 

EoC is also not for me, its just lost all of its ways and just seems to be turning into WoW. items have just fucked up the whole game also. such as ags/dclaws/torva/ most items have lost so much wealth its a joke.

 

well first and foremost welcome back to sythe. You were banned months ago i remember always trying to get back. Hopefully they remove it took 5 or 6 yrs to get rid of the trade limit....

 

EoC isn't as bad as I expected. Once you get into it its pretty fun. I play alot of games like Rappelz, which is based completely on skills. Well, runescape calls them abilities, but in Rappz its Skills. I notice alot of people fighting but not using thier "abilities" and Im smashing abilities like its my job.

Get into a fight and concentrate on constantly using abilities, for each fight make your goal to fill your adrenaline so you can use your 100% abilities. It actually makes combat in the game alot funner!

Other than combat, nothing else has changed. Prices are a bit wacky at the moment, but the skills in general are no different.

 

Yeah I'd say stick with it. I was skeptical at first too but after a few hours its not bad. Us like how before we used to think if combat was just a little bit cooler Runescape would be the greatest game. EoC had changed the game we used to be comfortable with but now that something had drastically changed we reject it instead of trying to accept it.

Rs has BEEN dead since 2008. EoC was the last nail in the coffin TBH. They could have done something different IMO. All they did was take WOW's combat system and change some little things and throw it in. They already had a Unique combat system, they should have just upgraded it in a way that would make the combat triangle equal(which they didn't do with EOC. They over-powered mage by a lot), and maybe throw in different types of specs for weapons(I.E. Spec 1 for whip is bind, spec 2 for whip is 20% more damage, etc.). Duel wielding would have been a great addition to the old combat system.

They definitely could have done way better IMO.

I quit because of EoC. I tried for a week to "get used to it" or "Let it grow on me" but I just don't like it at all.
