Jagex is still going to go through with updating the game..Just like past riots..

JaGeX are more likely to take people seriously who take time to write a thread on the forums and explain what they want changed, and gather names for a petition than loads of immature people spamming and lagging out a world.

 

Riots are just a way for people to feel like their opinion is being heard. At least people know EoC is not coming with open arms from all

You're actually wrong, Swift Kit is allowed once again, Free Trade/Wilderness returned, Jagex will look back and see what they can do to incorporate what they initially removed in hopes of pleasing their veteran player base along with generally promoting the game.
