Regarding Nagadesh's Dispute

He's about to make a dispute, please merge this thread with his.

He had scammed me about 15m, and also scammed another guy a 10m membership card. He has paid me back 25m, and has given me 15m for the other user he scammed (who is banned - any moderator can PM me and I'll pass it along to you).

Anyways, it took him a long time to pay back. He said MANY times that he didn't want to pay it back because there was no guaranteed unban. He also blocked me many times for that same reason. Looks like he finally grew up and decided to pay.

I'm not recommending an unban for him because of his immaturity with this situation.

Just making this post to confirm that he has indeed paid back. It's up to you guys if you think he should return.

 

Hello again. John here wishing to put behind stupid acts which I have committed nearly a year ago now. I have owned up to scamming 10million gold from a user for a membership, and also stealing and abusing the trust between myself and Dialatic, where I took 15m from an account we were sharing.
I wish to move on, on embrace the community once again. I have paid Dialatic (Mike) back personally 40million, to compensate for the price fluctuation between then and now. I wish to put this behind me and become and active and trusted person.

Was there a report with this whole situation? I can't seem to find one.

I'll have to look at that report and it could possibly influence my decision but as of right now it's a no.

Mine didn't have enough proof, but he later admitted to it (also shown in the screenshots in the original post).

I'm gonna have to say no. It's great that you've paid back the users whom you've scammed, but it seems you're only coming back to sell again. You only paid those users back in the hopes that you'd be allowed back to make more money. Nothing shows me that once your time of selling your new-game items is over, you wont have the urge to scam again.

I would just like to make my case in full here, if you would allow me the chance to explain myself.
I was an extremely active and involved member in the community for the duration of my stay.I made over 20 or 30 transactions if I remember correctly. I loved it, I didn't do it for the money, but for the fact that it was a different side of the game's economics which I love. Buying an account for 1m and selling it for 1.5m was really a buzz for me, as bad as that sounds.
As you said, I am looking to return to trading, as I do really miss the scene here. I completely regret the actions that I did that day, and if I could take them back, I would.
I repaid the people as said by Dialatic, and I know that I cannot 'buy' my way out of my actions, but I'm just asking for another chance.
The 'crimes' were committed over a year ago, and if you can trust me at all through this post, I cannot believe I was a person that did those things. I am extremely loyal in-game, with an extremely good reputation, (Glaedr on RS / Tz on Ravencrest, WoW EU.)
I am not asking you guys to say "oh sure, we'll unban you this second", I just wish to have a discussion with a member of the council, if at all possible.
Even if I could come back with a "trade with caution" if that is the right title, so I can at least try to earn a decent relationship with the community and with you guys.
I'm just asking for a chance of redemption.

The problem is we can't allow you back with a twc, so that's the biggest factor. If we could still do that maybe your chances would be better.

 

Sorry for all of this, I must be getting on your nerves by now.
I just wish to be heard out, and have my case discussed, if at all possible. I really and honestly have no intention of doing anything negative within the Sythe community, and am now threat at all.
All I can request is a chance to prove my loyalty. Repaying the victims was the first step (as I thought), I just would like something else I can do to prove to you guys of my good intentions.
I could create a vouches page, and the first comment can be from Dialatic himself saying be cautious when trading with me (if unable to do a trade with caution). ect.
I just really don't want to be cut-off from here forever. Please, if at all possible, show me something that I can do to change your minds.

I am still waiting to hear back from you guys on my current position in this Request of a Pardon. I would still very much like to have my case discussed, at the unfortunate expense of your time. I would like to strongly stress the matter that I am not seeking an imidiate solution and unban of my account, as I know and understand that my actions were unjust. I feel that enough time has passed for me to seek you guys out in my renewal of your trust, to hopefully be reunited with your site. I would really appreciate suggestions, if you do not deem me fit to return, to help bolster my case and innocence. Thank you again.

 

After talking to him he brings up a good point, he's owned up to what he's done, and it was a year ago. He's repayed people who were lost and is taking responsibility.
