Banning Bots Seconds After Creation

I saw this video on YouTube and tried it myself and it actually works, how does this work, and how does Jagex know if they are a actually a bot? Maybe this is where some of the bots from Botany Bay come from?

This is weird, why like 15 seconds after creation was he banned, also, aren't most the bots in botany bay like level 55 combat? Just my thought on that.

 

Maybe because the account was made from an ip that has recently just made 5739428093 other accounts? Not sure.

 

Yeah weird alright, I'm just wondering how does Jagex know they are bots? And I've tried this multiple times and they all do the same thing, walk outside the training place, check their map and walk west, and bu the time they are up the hill thing they get crushed. Maybe the movement has something to do with it or they can just trace the program.

 

They check the paths, these are most likely going to go to GE and start spamming, it's wonderful that we know botany bay works for now

 

What if a normal user just decided to take that same path?? I fairly certain it's IP related, or the possibility that it recognized that the bot was using some type of foreign software to play the game? Not too sure, but regardless Jagex really is stepping their game up.

 

This is interesting. I went to Lumbrige w1 and the bots are being banned regularly. Like a few every minute.

If the account was made and the guy wasn't clever enough to change ip, then it's pretty obvious that , that was his problem >.<

Nope, I had a friend who would get banned over and over and he changed his IP multiple times after each account he created.

Your friend should have cleared his cache, that's a common issue. (The Jagex one in your sys files).

 

It still may just be a fluke, i still bot on my accounts and have yet to be banned... But i do think it's crazy how fast he was picked up

 

I botted range guild for 18 hours in a day lastweek .. perhaps my recurring membership has something to do with not receiving a ban yet

 

That's pretty awesome. I like the progress that Jagex has been making against bots. I don't bot myself anymore so if bots can be stopped and gold prices can go up I'd benefit tremendously.
