Uhm please forgive me for questioning your authority, but that is completely retarded. Paypal was reversing the payments, not him, so as long as he stopped using paypal how is he a threat? I'm sure he would've done his best to pay people back, but now it's going to be harder since he's banned from sythe.

Don't just go banning active members for stupid things. He wasn't a threat, it was a mishap that I'm sure hurts him just as much as it did the other people.

 

How do you know paypal reversed his payments? Why should anyone take his word on that? Everything he did was sketchy, from donating alot quickly, all the way down to paying to host servers and stuff.

 

Banning him was the right decision.

However, calling him a scammer was a bit far. He's an idiot, sure. A scammer, I don't think so, but we'll find out soon enough won't we.

We can't just be banning members left and right. He did something stupid yes, but it doesn't make him a threat. What if he can only get money from sythe? Then no one will get paid back, because he won't be getting money from the site. Everyone loses.

 

I don't use paypal extensively, but I am sure they wouldn't do something if they didn't have a good reason. Maybe he is stealing identities, or just plain stealing money, and paypal caught on? He was throwing around some major cash.

I don't really want to speculate on something I have no clue about, but I doubt paypal did all that for shits and giggles.

 

Did you read the report? It happened because he had multiple accounts under the same names.

 

It happened because he tried to evade a limitation that Paypal placed on his account, effectively barring him from their services.

What he did, while common, is still full of risk, and he knowingly took that risk, presumably over and over until it finally dawned on him that Paypal doesn't want him to use their services. Or maybe it still hasn't dawned on him.

He took a risk, he's paying for it. You reap what you sow.

Paypal will reverse payments if they think your account is suspicious. There is pretty much nothing he could do, I doubt he made the reversals if he tried to pay it back. His paypal will be limited and he wont be able to use it again probably.

 

Look, if he had kept doing it even after the report, he is obviously a thread and should be banned.

He stopped, and is as long as he continues to make an effort to pay people back, then what is the problem? Banning someone because they owe people money is so counter-productive.

 

Are you guys skipping over the fact that he made multiple Paypal accounts to evade limitation, if he was limited before then obviously payments were reversed as well. He knew it would happen, yet he continuously used it anyway.

So, just let the dude pay the shit back and he'll be allowed back.

If anyone was to use multiple paypals and have them get charged back they would be banned. Nobody can monitor if he continues to trade with paypal so its best to ban him.

Also I highly doubt he will pay back anybody so don't get your hopes up.
