Randoms are gone.

I read that on the news on RS Main Page.

I'm very excited about this lol, now I can use Red Mowse all weekend for my construction 99 lol.

What do you think about this?

 

It probably means that they know they will be able to catch all bots. I'd be careful if i were you.

 

Yeah, i agree it would be something of this nature. They wouldn't just stop trying to catch botters imo

 

Yeah, games are for fun but not the time consuming things like training. People have lifes and he's just trying to get the most out of the double xp weekend. No need for your ignorant comments.

Like Crooksncastles said, I don't have that much time to train and I want to have fun when I can, and this double exp weekend is a huge help for everyone and each player takes advantage the way he/she can.

Not everyone has a whole weekend, like I said before.

But I don't see why'd they would just suddenly remove randoms, except for what we already said.

 

Said to see these randoms go. I actually enjoyed completing them, regardless if I was botting or not.

Jagex is becoming "high tech" now. They don't need to rely on a "visible" part of the war against botting. They obviously have confidence in their system to catch botters.

 

That's stupid. Randoms gave me free exp... I MIGHT actually miss them now

 

I actually enjoyed randoms as well as a botter. I'd log on the next day with like a free 10k or so XP. However I'm glad I won't have to face another Maze or Evil Bob.

 

Every day or so I racked up 5-6K XP but it still helped out in the long run, I gained a slayer level with randoms in conjunction with SOF to raise my Slayer from 91-92.

I will miss them very much, apart from the gravedigger and the evil bob, I actually loved all of them, ESPECIALLY the maze.

 

Thank god they're gone. Annoying af and barely give any rewards

 

They must be really sure that their bot detection system works.

 

I have mixed feelings about this. Sure random events could be pesky but I would much rather have a bot stuffed up occasionally by a random event than be banned. From what I have seen so far Botany Bay looks harmless, I hope they aren't going to improve it or it could put a dent in botting.

 

I think it's pretty cool that they are gone, no more annoying mazes that waste a lot of time.

 

I miss the original randoms, that actually killed you for bank if you botted or afk'd, they were probably more effective than any of Jagex's bot nukes haha. Sad to see them go, but more exp/hr for me.

 

^ That exact thing happened to me a few years back, I was alching using an autoclicker, and I got killed by a random event. Lost my whole bank at the time, was gutted

 

Im kinda sad that they are gone however annoying they get.
