S U O M I Quits?

So what do you guys think of S U O M I quitting with only around 300m exp left before being the first ever person to reach 200m in all skills, 5b exp.

Though he still has about 800m exp lead in first place, so it will take a while before anyone catches up incase he finds his passion back in the game and finishes it.

 

He must have his a good reason. Any normal person would easily claim that title of the first person with all skills maxed. But then again, I've never had an account with all skills at 99 so maybe he's just bored/irritated with tedious tasks. 300m experience is still a ton.

 

Yea, but with this double exp coming up he would've knocked a lot of that out. I guess those people who donated bills to see him max aren't very happy.

I wonder who will be next to take his bills of donations to max.

 

Dude, he played for 10 years I don't blame him for leaving.

It was Tip.It.. I'm sad to see him go. I remember seeing him on German worlds while training slayer. I wonder who will be first to 5b now that he said it won't be him.

 

Would never have seen this coming. Wow. Shame.

 

Surprising that he quit so close to his goal. Good that he's finally decided that leaving is the best thing to do however, I bet it has tarnished his real life.

 

I don't think he'll quit. After his week away skiing or whatever he said, he'll have enough time to see that he's making a hasty decision which has the wrong outcome.
Surely anyone that close to a lengthy goal wouldn't throw in the towel like that.

If he does, he's had a good run.

 

"I have no trust in Jagex anymore." Ouch Jagex, I felt that burn THROUGH my computer screen. This guy is clearly quite mature considering how much time he's devoted to clicking and typing, I really respect his decision to let someone else be the first to max exp.

Really though Jagex in the short run is setting themselves up nicely, but in the long run, they're losing their long-standing players and the ones who haven't quit are generally unhappy with Jagex.

There is probably a really good chance he will. I mean, he was still far away, but he was still really close compared to other people.

Still, sad to see him go. But after 10 years of RuneScape, I don't know if that game would interest me anymore either. Seeing as he has reached 99 in all skills, that ought to be some boring sessions of Runescape.

 

I think that he made a wise choice, since he has wasted enough time already.

 

It took me so long to get 4 stats to 99 (13mxp) and thats like a good month for him....Unreal this is best for him to live outside his pixel world

 

He should probably come on Sythe and hire a skiller to just finish his goal!

In all seriousness, I'm sure to actual RuneScape players its a shame to see him go. No doubt he was a figurehead to legit players and I'm sure his leaving is for good reason. Someone like him leaving before a bonus xp weekend? Wouldn't have seen it coming.

 

Couldn't agree more, he may be having his thoughts about quitting now but after his trip I can defiantly see him starting to play like normal again.

 

Good for him, glad to see that he has the willpower to stop something that he doesn't necessarily enjoy anymore. Although, it would be interesting to see what Jagex might have possibly done since he would be the first person to basically "beat/master" the game.

Maybe he'll come still have that urge and addiction to play and continue with his original plan.

 

I quitted aswell today the game is going 2 fuck allong with no mostly because of the players that polute it...

 

Things happen, he'll be back or not. Only time will tell
