Xfer gone wrong?

when you try the red portal and/or the wildy Xfer you lose ALL of the coins in your inventory and you may not have them back. correct? Just lost 48M because of this...

 

From newly created trade limited accounts? I believe so. I think the only working method is the table method.

 

and where do my coins dissapear to?!?!!

 

they disappear completely. i believe only 25k shows up? you have no chance at getting it back. like said above the only/easiest transfer method is putting the coins on the table and waiting for them to appear on your other account.

 

Like anything else that is dropped and disappears after the few minutes, it's gone permanently, impossible to get it back.

 

happened to me yesterday lost 10m whilst trying to the wildy/skeleton method. Only 25k showed up.

Wait.. so now the red portal xfer method doesn't work? The only working method now is straight up trading the money/items (with no trade limit)? please tell me that's not true...

Same thing happened to me for 18m, ah well.

 

I lost 11M through wildy ..

 

When i xfer i just log in on the two accounts at the same time, on 2 seperate windows, if you time it right its easy

 

This patch was posted earlier last week for anyone who didn't bother browsing through. Now you've seen the full effects

 

Due to new RuneScape updates, because people were spamming SoF bots that used this method to transfer, new accounts have been completely limited to trading and xfering via death. The only way to transfer your coins from a limited account is through table xferring, and even that's risky. Sadly, you won't be seeing that 48M anymore.

 

Wait, so say, I've made an account before this patch and turned it into members now, would I be able to lift that trade limit or not?

 

If you made it before the update, that is the update of the trade limit, you're fine no matter what. If you made the account after the 25k trade limit update then made it members, you CAN xfer like that, but I'd test it with 1m just incase. You shouldn't be limited to any kind of drops anymore because in theory that would make someone PKing you or actually legitimately killing you in the wild pointless for them.
