Whats taking so long is that I'm not the type to come back and suck everyones dick (metaphorically of course) for my old position back. As I aged I viewed this place as like the local bar (meaning the actual bar not including the dance floor) you come here and meet with the people you have known for ages, and the new people who now understand how the game works. You laugh and share stories and have a good time, while you sit and watch everyone else fight over petty power and rank like mobsters from the '80's while you handle the strings of the puppets and make all of the rackets work from behind the scenes, like the tradition is today.

In short you realize what matters in life when you get older and power is not necessarily one of them, I don't know many older people but I am sure sythe/richard and clashfan can attest that what I say is true. However there are many a youngin on staff now who will look at me with a feverish anger and decide that they somehow know better and that power is everything when they don't really know what true power is nor what it means to bear true power.
