"I'm just not that kind of person"

So I (male) was getting cozy with my friend (female) - I told her that I liked her in an elaborate way and we began flirting playfully and she seemed to enjoy it, but when I very tastefully hinted at something sexual, her response was the name of this thread.. How should I interpret this? And more importantly, how can I make her feel otherwise?

 

She clearly said no... It's rude to think you know better and make change her mind.

 

It depends what she said. For example some people wont give blow jobs, Because they're disgusted by it. What did you ask her?

Also how long have you known her? And if you're "just friends" then why would she want to do anything sexual with you? You can still flirt with friends I guess but it doesn't mean they want to do anything sexual with you. You really need to take what she said into consideration and think about her feelings

 

If I were you I wouldnt try anything else sexual with her. I'd just be myself around her and let her come onto you.

 

I wish people would post more information, like cosrob said, don't do that, and don't be forceful lol, you're gonna have to wait for her to be comfortable, and when she is she'll make a move or talk about it with you.

 

Some girls dont mind flirting... she maybe would have kissed you and things like that, but to reference to 'sex' or anything close... is crossing a boundary to a girl who isnt interested in that. Theres playful flirting and theres sexual flirting... stay on the safe side lol.

 

If you could elaborate what you said to her and in what kind of way, i can help you further, Some girls do not like sexual flirting while others do, its a personal thing and no one knows for certain if the girl you are flirting with wants that, in my opinion she was meaning no.

 

Since you haven't been more specific, I'm assuming she just isn't in to having sex with someone she isn't in a relationship with, which is understandable and should be respected.

Without knowing what you said, no one can give any good advice. If you said haha suck my dick, then of course she is going to say that and you need to be slapped. If you said like, "im having so much fun, your so beautiful can i kiss you" thats a different story.

 

It'll take time, but like others said, wait for her to be comfortable with it. Let her make the move, or hint towards it.
No clue if you're just wanting sex, or what. But date her if you're into her, otherwise, let it go.
