W1 falador riots 9-22-2012

Thought this was interesting anyways most people are against the E.O.C
so its nice to see some form of protest even though it might be pointless.

 

I'm honestly surprised people still do these.
Rs community has fallen apart over the years, so its good to see some people still care.

 

lol its funny to see all these people rage becuase jagex could a give a rats ass about what the players think. Also, the people saying "We pay we say", its a f2p world lol.

 

I can’t wait to see the day people start rioting at Jagex HQ lol.

 

All the riots happen in f2p worlds they always have. w1 is kind of the dedicated world when it comes to these things and alot of those ppl were in fact p2p you can tell by the skillcapes and armour.

 

I was in the riot when Combat Beta came out, it's not really worth doing a riot, Jagex won't care, all they want is money

 

Riots are pointless. Frankly, there is little we can do to stop the EoC. The best we can do is adapt.

People need to get over the fact that runescape is changing. Yeah, you might not like it, but tough luck. Go play 2006scape. Runescape changing to EoC isn't the biggest change you are going to see in your life.

I dont support EOC, but rioting is useless...unless there were thousands of people quitting there accounts like before the trade limit. If not nothings going to be done about it.

"rioting" over a videogame in game is fucking stupid . Doesnt work for shit, time and time again its been proven ineffective in doing anything but getting a handful of dumbasses muted . least they were lagging out a shitty f2p world this time.

 

Nothing will compare to riots following the removal of free trade. After that one failed, I have no faith in these things to do anything except annoy some pmods.

 

Who cares if riots don't persuade Jagex. One doesn't necessarily attend to protest. It's a lot of fun when you're there just to disrupt things: lighting fires, planting flowers, and having your cannon spinning as you spam "@@@@@" alongside your pink-hatted peers is excellent entertainment.

Plus when the forums get a thousand active users complaining about the same thing... that can be somewhat effective.
