Lunar Deplomicay?

Can someone please tell me the benifites of doing this quest is lol?
I did it a long time ago just for the outfiti lol

 

You'll unlock the Lunar Spellbook, you can play Livid Farm, you can craft astral runes and you can get Suqahs for your slayer task. It's one of those vital quests to do if you want to go further in the game, at least in my mind

 

Most pkers do the quest because it allows them access to the Lunar Spellbook which grants them the ability to use vengeance, a spell that obviously grants massive aid when it comes to PKing. Others however complete the quest as a pre-req for others, or for general access to the spellbook which can be used for various skill training, crafting astrals(as mentioned above) and a bunch of other stuff.

 

Basically people do it to bot astrals or for the Vengeance spell. It can be quite useful when pking, it can even finish an opponent off for you if they attempt to spec you out. It's a humorous way to die, they usually get angry.

 

Mostly for the vengance spell which does 70% of the damage back to the enemy that they dealt to you. But nowa days I've been seeing more and more people that do Lunar Diplomacy, then they do livid farm to get the spell "Distruption Shield" which basically negates attacks for the next 3 seconds or so. Which is pretty fucking sick because you can get clawed and literally take 0 damage.

 

For the reference disruption shield just blocks damage of the following attack, not for 3 seconds.

But it is DEFINITELY mainly done for the vengeance and disruption shield in most cases.

 

If you're ever going to melee pk you'll need to be on lunars to use vengeance. Pretty much the only important use of lunars is for pking.

 

Quest Reward:
1.50 Astral runes, 5,000 magic and runecrafting experience,
2.access to new spells and Astral rune crafting.
