What should i do with this account?

Should i level defense and become a mage boxer? Level any combat levels? Level other combat skills? Thanks.

 

If you're interested in staking, make it a mage boxer, if interested in pking, make it a range tank. I'd go for the tank option but I just prefer pking rather than staking.

 

So pretty much i should get defense, no matter what?

 

It depends what you enjoy on RuneScape. If you want to stake then that account has potential for a mage boxer if you get 99 defence/hp. If not, you can make generally any type of account with that since it's pretty much got the opportunity to become anything. If you like PKing, you can make it a pure and if you don't enjoy that, go on to quest some def levels and make it a tank/main.

 

I already have a main. The only reason I'm hesitant about becoming a mage boxer is that I really don't have much time, and 99 defense and hp is probably not going to happen.

 

Range tank would be the best option for this account. Level that defence up!

 

Don't make a mage boxer. You'll rage while trying to find people to stake ancients, or you'll rage while trying to get SoA because of the endless hours of questions. If I were you I'd turn it into a turmoil pure instead.

 

I'm pretty sure magic defense = magic level. If you do actually want to turn it into a mage boxer, you can keep the defense at 1. And get the mage to 99.

yes magic defence does scale with level however i do not know to what extent. I recall reading it on the loading screen

you could get 80 dung for chaotic staff and 99 mage, would be a pretty pro mage acc
