how to deal with gambling addiction

how the fuck do u overcome the buy mills and lose them at duel arena addiction

You stop playing until you're able to control it. Have a family member or friend hold on to your account. Best of luck.

 

just dont go to the dueling arena, go kill people by playing castle wars or something wear you can kill players without losing your items

 

If your gambling addiction is to the point where it is taking a toll on your life just give your RS accounts away and never look back. I’m sure a crack head gets rid of his crack pipe when attempting to kick a crack addiction.

 

Meh I've got the same problem with Frosty Flowers :/ Except I use RSGP that I've earn't not bought. I've been cleaned twice which sucks but I think the main issue is the voice inside your head telling you how great it would be if you won. I mean seriously it would be great if you won wouldn't it?

 

I'm sorry man. Unfortunately I can't relate because I've never experienced anything like this before. But I definitely see the unrestrained "poor fiscal habits" by many players in the game. It's very disheartening.

Runescape is only a game; everything is virtual; your items and accounts all belong to Jagex anyway. Perhaps taking a break from would be good. And see this as a learning experience — be thankful that you're not pissing your paychecks away at the local casino, and take preventative steps to assure yourself that never happens.

It's not easy. I'm addicted to staking as well. The best thing to do is just stop and realize/look around and take a second to notice that you're throwing your life away over a stupid game. Take time off, take a few days/weeks/months/however long it takes to realize this game is meant to be fun. If it loses that aspect AND begins to cut into the happiness of your real life, then it's not worth it.

Remember that, always.

 

I have the same problem man. I don't know how to control it, but I just say no because I have more than enough.

You need to think about the cons before the pro's.

Before I go staking I'm always saying "What if I win x amount", instead of "What if I lose "this amount".

Helps a lot and I restrict myself.

Change your password, or limit your paypal to a certain amount each month.

 

If you're losing paychecks, you really do need to have someone trusted change your password for you. That is ridiculous if you're losing that much REAL money, over a virtual game. Best of luck.

 

I had the same problem and listen to advice to solve it, go make an account on battlescape, similar to runescape with over 400 ppl playing and go stake their it fills ur addiction too trust me it works

 

If your maxed go to powerbot and buy the staking script along with rgp it will win for you lol

 

Haha, I almost agree with you, but it won't help his gambling addiction.. Just sitting there watching your hard earned cash melt away with a bot isn't much better than doing it yourself.

I agree with everyone else though, get someone in your family to change the password and take a month or two off from the game. Good luck mate!

 

I know a friend over the game that has done this, got himself into $2,400 worth of debt too.

It is ridiculous what a game alone can do to your life.

I myself do risk fights, but even then I know when to stop, I also don't like the ups and down's so I'll likely be stopping that very soon.

 

The bot's supposed to gain you, not lose you cash lol.
