JaGex super money hungry.

So this is the story, one of my accounts that I had bought a while ago finally got recovered by the original owners but my payment info was still on it. I first tried to recover the account by posting on the forums acting like someone hacked it, they replied back to me saying that the account was not mine and RWT is against the rules. I knew then that I wouldn't get the account back so I just posted since there is no fighting you guys then could you please cancel my membership on the account because I do not want to pay for an account that I do not use and don't have control over. Then I check the thread a day after and they tell me to try to recover the account again, and this time my appeal is accepted a minute after I submitted it. So JaGex really took the account back from the original owner and KNEW that I RWT and gave it back to me, I am not complaining or anything because I got the account back but that's just crazy.

SERIOUSLY? That's pretty low of the original owner to recover it back, but it's even lower of Jagex to give it back to you only because you threatened to cancel your memberships.

That's hilarious. Although, I'd take this time to remove your credit card information off the account before it's recovered again.

 

Well, congratulations on getting your account back I guess. And it's quite obvious to see Jagex will do anything for profits, I remember a while back they were letting people pay to have there accounts unbanned. With Micro-Transactions and the SoF now, I almost expect Jagex to go this low.

 

Also, if this happens again and they don't give it back to you, call your credit card company or bank and tell them not to release any payments to Jagex.

 

I just wanted to say that I think this is hilarious. If you could post any kind of pictures as evidence I will give you 1 Video buck. Of course if you get 1,000 Video bucks, you get an extra 5 minutes of lunch break time

 

That's hilarious. I feel like as a new "anti-ban" for RWTers, we should all buy like 10 spins a week, so Jagex plays nice with us.

That's good news . I personally haven't ever heard of someone being able to take the account back after the original owner has recovered it.

We are all well aware that Jagex is trying to milk RS for as much money as it can do before it dies. Just look at squeal of fortune and it escalates from there.
