Do you need a members account to play runescape classic?

I have a runescape classic account, but everytime I try to log in the runescape classic client it is telling me I need a member account.

but if you made a freh account, i don't think it would have access to rsc, you must have logges into rsc a while back

 

Yeah, you must have had access to RSC before they first closed it off or accessed it during one of the openings over the last couple of years.

 

What the above 2 said, these are the dates you needed to login: (had to be a member during these times)

Between 3rd August 2005 and 3rd February 2006
11th November 2009 and 25th November 2009
1st June 2010 and 24th June 2010
14th September 2011 and 28th September 2011

There is also no way of checking to see if you are RSC enabled when F2P.

 

Are you told you must be a member to access regardless of whether you've accessed on one of the two week periods before or not?

 

I'd like to know that as well.

 

This is so dumb, they should open it to the public and F2P as well. F2P classic was probably the best game I've ever played :\

I heard you need to donate 3 dollars untill they update EOC

 

Yes, it sucks but you do need members. Even if you have an account with World 1 access.
