General Staff Feedback

Notice some moderators close threads when they are posted in the wrong section and I think it would be better if you moved it to the correct section, assuming it doesn't take much extra effort.

 

I've noticed this too. From what I remember it took the same amount of time and effort. Unless there are any other reasons for them being locked I think it'd be great if they could be moved instead of closed. It makes everything a bit neater too.

I usually try not to.

 

I usually don't move threads unless it's within the same category (aka Runescape forums) just because its easy for people to lose their thread and not know what happened to it and locking it will make them understand where they have to post it. If there is a lot of spam on the thread too I generally just close it so they can make a new non-spamming thread. And lastly sometimes theres just about 9000 threads in the wrong place (like Community general) and its just easier to close them all (or in the case of community general delete the unapproved thread) instead of spending the time to move 15 threads to all different forums.

Not saying we shouldn't ever move them or that mods aren't being lazy but sometimes there is a reason they don't get moved.

 

Although I only joined today, I've been lurking Sythe for the best part of two years and I can safely say FireZ is an amazing staff member. Keep it up.

Aahk. That kinda makes sense. If I couldn't mind my thread I'd just go into my recent threads through my profile, but I can see how moving it could cause more trouble.

This a million times. Not as much of a banhammer than once before though

 

superman rlz he is 1 of the most active mods in my opinion(+zerker). Video is my Hero aswell.

 

I normal lock them because I'm on my iPhone an it's a hassle to move them.

 

Superman - is doing great i posted a change title for my thread and he took exactly 2 minutes to do it !
in general the staff members are doing really great moderating those forums !!

 

Shoop, Frenzy, Superman, and They Be Trippin have all done a VERY VERY VERY good job in infracting users and locking threads I have been reporting constantly, and thus far have kept up with all of my reports almost the instant they were made.


I will continue to try and send in quality reports so that you will be able to handle the situation accordingly.

Everyone else has been doing well, there are obviously a couple who are leaning towards the inactive side, but all in all, you guys are sailing this ship pretty smoothly.

I'd like to thank Superman for taking care of a few reported posts. You've handled majority of mine, and I appreciate it.

I'd like to also thank n4n0 for responding fairly quick to a PM that helped in a scam report.

Honestly, the scam reports need to be handled, and handled frequently.
