Scammed 1.5b

Okay so i just sold 1.5b in increments via paypal and the funds got held 750$ worth.

is there anyway i can dispute this?

This isn't belong in this section, do a scam report if you have enough evidence that you got scammed and by whom, so he can be banned.

Now, just click on the "held" and you will see a chatbox where you can write whatever you want that may convince paypal that you really have been scammed, though don't mention that it's virtual goods or else your money is lost.

On the other hand, I will have to admit that your chances to reclaim the money are almost completely 0.

For the next time, never accept a payment via paypal if it hasnt been sent as a "Gift". Payments that are sent as Gifts can't be charged back, means that you can't get scammed.

well im fucked, they put virtual goods in the details/note and said they wouldnt chargeback.

To be honest, you won't see that money.

PayPal will reverse it to him, there's no chance you'll win it. By the looks of it, it's an unauthorized claim, and judging by the way you've posted this and the scenario, it's safe to say that there's no way you'll see that money again.

Sorry for your loss man, PayPal isn't safe for people who aren't very trustworthy, next time go through PlayerAuctions and other Non-Chargebackable forms of payment.

If you have questions about this in the future, contact any larger seller/buyer, they'd be able to give you more insight, and possibly purchase your gold off you safely.

Well at least you provided enough evidence to get the guy that scammed you banned. And to be perfectly honest, your chances of winning the dispute are slim, sorry :/

 

It is actually still possible for Gifts to have the money held. A person can claim it wasn't them accessing their PayPal account, or call PayPal and say they made a mistake and accidentally clicked Gift.

Have you called PayPal yourself and explained your situation? It's a lot of money, I'm sure they will help.
