Anyways, I too wonder who we'll see back, have a few in mind. Although, like John pointed out, doubt many who have been gone so long will ever have the same activity as they once did, if they even bother at all.

This is still a great thing that is being done though, for those unfairly banned 'lurkers' who've still kept a somewhat active eye on the community through various means. Glad to see this being finally done.

 

To clarify: if your account was deleted for being in ghosts IRC, that is Sythe's doing and I cannot undo that without his approval.

 

I don't mean to be rude but those are the only respectable members that were banned. The best example would be DarkGroove.

 

Well, he never mentioned ghosts in his dispute.

 

Would I be able to use this to regain the 2500 posts I lost from Skillers FTW?

 

I don't think this restitution thing will work out unless Sythe specifically understands that it must also apply to his bans, or at least takes the time to go over them.

Could you possibly contact him about it?

 

I only can echo the sentiments by others, great idea Govind. Nice to see something like this being implemented!

 

Sythe's word is final on his own bans/deletions. This applies to bans that were clearly unfair and not administered by Sythe. I can ask him about the ones currently in tr dispute forum though, as the original band were unfair and not given by Sythe.

 

Great idea Govind. Hopefully everything with the accounts deleted by Sythe himself also work out.

Great idea Govind! It'll be good to see some people return from unfair bans.

 

I actually have a good friend who was banned for trying to sell shrunken heads or something on sythe. It was a joke in the Spam forum, but someone looked at him as a "weirdo" and banned him i guess. I am glad this thread is up. I am going to let him know about it, ASAP.
