A Pkers Setup

Hello Sythers, throughout this guide I am going to be showing you some of the most efficient Pking setups which will include equipment setup and inventory setup, Lets get started.​

1 defense pure​

Helmet Slot : Skill hood or your own preference.
Amulet Slot : Amulet of fury > Amulet of strength > Amulet of glory.
Cape Slot : Tokkhar-Kal > Firecape > Skillcape > Obby Cape > Teamcape.
Platebody Slot : Iron Platebody > Monks robe.
Platelegs Slot : Royal D'hide > Black D'hide > Red D'hide > Blue D'hide > Green D'hide > Iron Platelegs > Monks robe.
Boots Slot : Climbing boots > Iron boots.
Gloves Slot : Adamant gloves > Regens Brace > Mithril gloves > Combat Brace.
Shield Slot : Unholy book > Iron Defender > Iron Kiteshield.
Weapon Slot : Chaotic > Whip > Brackish Blade > Dragon Scimitar.
Ring Slot : Berserker Ring > Warrior Ring > Ring of Recoil.

Main Accounts​

Helmet Slot : Nez Helm > Berserker helm > Penance Fighter Hat.
Amulet Slot : Amulet of fury > Amulet of Glory > Amulet of strength.
Cape Slot : Tokkhar-Kal > Firecape > Skillcape > Soulwars cape > Ardy cape > Obby Cape > Teamcape.
Platebody Slot : Torag's Platebody > BCP > Fighters Torso > Granite Body > Rune Platebody.
Platelegs Slot : Torag's Platelegs > Bandos Tassets > Dragon Platelegs > Rune Platelegs.
Boots Slot : Steadfast boots > Dragon boots > Climbers boots > Rune boots.
Gloves Slot : Goliath gloves > Barrows gloves > Dragon gloves > Rune gloves > Regens Brace.
Shield Slot : Dragonfire Shield > Dragon Defender > Rune defender > Obby shield > Granite Shield.
Weapon Slot : Chaotics > Whip > Armadyl Godsword > Korasi > Dragon Scimitar.
Ring Slot : Berserker Ring / (i) > Warrior Ring / (i) > Ring of Recoil.

Spec Weapons (PURES) : Dragon Claws > Dragon Dagger > Granite Maul > Armadyl Godsword.

Spec Weapons (MAINS) : Armadyl Godsword > Dragon Claws > Korasi > Dragon Dagger > Dragon mace > Granite Maul.

Inventory (PURES) ​

Pots : 1 Super Attack, 1 Super Strength, 1 Sara Brew ( Flask > Potion ), 1 Super Restore ( Flask > Potion ) , 2 Prayer potions ( Flask > Potion ) .
Food : Rocktails > Sharks > Cavefish.
Other : Pheonix Necklace, Teleport to house tab, Extra Ring of Recoil ( If using ).

ONE SPACE FOR SPEC WEAPON ​

Inventory (MAINS) ​

Pots : 1 Super Attack, 1 Super Strength, 1 Super Defence ( OPT ) 1 Sara Brew ( Flask > Potion ) , 1 Super Restore, 3 Prayer potions (Flask > Potion ).
Food : Rocktails > Sharks.
Other : Pheonix necklace (1 or 2), Teleport to house tab, Enough runes for 10 casts of 'Vengance'

I would include pictures. You also left some big things out; P-neck & glory for pures, monk robe instead of iron plate.

you can use flasks too

 

You might wanna change the armour set ups a bit, i doubt anyone would want to risk that much

RsgpGold247, It is more intended for the people who are new or unfamiliar with pking

 

Why are cavefish worse than sharks? And you only need one prayer potion as a pure, or a super restore if you Sara brew. If you do be sure to super pot up again.

 

Cavefish are very hard to buy in the grand exchange and will usually end up costing you more than sharks
If you are using being smited and or are high risking most would prefer 2 prayer potions just to be safe

As stated above, Wouldn't hurt to include pictures. It would make the thread look better and more professional.

 

I disagree with your spec weapon choice, While yes dclaws are very very good it doesnt mean they are better than a gmaul. It depends on the setup and what your doing.

Also your mains spec weapons are wrong imo. Claws>ags

 

To be honest, you can PK in any gear you'd like, especially on a pure.

I used to wear zamorak robe bottoms, monk top, a strength ammy and some other 3k gear whilst bridding. It was pretty fun and I'd actually have some fun because when I didn't risk as much $$, I was more able to focus on the actual bridding and I got pretty good at it.

 

1 prayer pot is fine. I don't usually even use one dose, so four is plenty. If you high risk you want brews and restores anyway.

 

why is brack blade>scim?

 

how the hell are climbing boots better than rune boots on a main :/

 

@t1a91 : climbing boots have more str bonus.
@ilovegold69 : Poke attack is better than slash attack
@2012monstr : That's just my personal preference, Many prefer claws to ags
