Heavily focused around photography and playing around with light leaks and color correction as well as some simple design below are some of my favorite pieces that i've created. Any sort of commenting or criticism is appreciated, I hope you enjoy!

 

I like that last piece, I've never seen anything like it before. Feels like some kind of portal to a different place

If you did the photography then kudos because it is good photog work, but as for the photoshop effects I don't really see anything that is advanced work or nothing something playing around with it for an hour couldn't do.

 

I really do like these, and browsing around this forum I generally don't like what I see. I like the third one the best because of the colors incorporated with it. I do like the last one, but I really do believe you should take Nero's advice and use a bit of photoshop to smooth it out to make it look more natural. For sure, I do like these and you should keep up the good work.

 

the last one couldve been made better imo. i'd make the top sky blend in a bit and maybe don't round off the corners. i like the effect tho.

I'd say for the last one to play with some gradient maps until you get something to come along. Don't forget photo filters either as they're easier to work with than gradient maps, but the defaults are limited. You can create your own, though.

 

Yes I did take these pictures, that mainly what I am trying to showcase so yeah the effects are quite simple as you stated. Thanks for the feedback!

Personally I was going for two distinct entities in the last photo to showcase the separation and the difference. But aesthetically, you're right it could be smoothened.
