The weirdest thing just happened !

I actually met a nice person on RS !
So I was cursing that zammy mage in Varrock castle on my new pure, when some guy comes in with kiln cape/santa/3rd age mage/ fury (or) and all that stuff. I asked him if he was a turmoil pure and such, and went on with my maging.
He trades me and gives me 1.2mil for no reason, since he saw me maging he's like "buy some runes and train magic, k?".

This is the first time in ages I've actually seen someone being kind and helpful to a low level instead of jsut saying noob.

Have you guys met anyone nice lately? It's pretty rare with all these dick's on RS nowadays.

 

Well idk if this counts, but yesterday at the runespan someone asked where everyone is from and someone said my town (only 20,000 people here). And it actually turns out that the person i was talking to as a lvl 3 and was sorta guiding me in combat for after i get 99 today because Ive never done combat (hes like 110+) actually goes to my school and i know him. Just saying its kinda spooky.

 

Ive never met anyone from my hometown, itd be nice to though.

 

Hm, never met someone who was that friendly to me.

 

I find it hard to not be kind to people in Runescape. For example I'm level 138 maxxed in everything and a level 50 asked me if I could help him train firemaking. I went and bought him 1k oak logs which would get him to the firemaking level to burn maple logs, and I also gave him 10k maples. I find myself doing little things like this a lot because it doesn't even dent me, even though I'm not rich.

 

ive seen a certain pmod a number of times in the most random places almost always sitting down bsing with people he has always invited me to sit and talk with him and was always very friendly or homeworld just happens to be the same and i do alot of clue scrolls so i catch him in alot of goofy places. my only moderator friend in game . his being so friendly is probably how he got to be a mod though. outside of that i have a former clanmate who helped me out when i had started playing rs again gave me 200k when i was stone cold broke and it really helped me get on my feet even though it was such a small amount of money it meant alot to me at that point in time it was a very nice thing to do considering he was lvl 60 something and prolly didnt have much of a bank to throw around.

 

My friend won loads of money recently playing flower game and gave me 100m out of a huge pot he won

 

I used to have this rich as fuck friend way back in like 05, I was like level 70 lol on a straight f2p account, and the guy gave me 3m (in 2005, that was like giving someone god damn 30m nowadays, maybe more) to get my cooking up. I got to like, level 89 cooking or something then bought zammy with the rest of the cash. i ended giving the cash back because i felt bad lol

 

I've made a few good friends between '07 - '10, to most of them I don't talk anymore since they/I have quit RS or I lost my accounts and have forgotten about them.

I've got one friend I still talk to on a regular basis, I met him in '08 I believe, hes such a great guy, only one of my close RS friends who still plays the game.

 

no one has been that nice to me in years.

 

Maybe years ago, but since than not very many generous people are left :/

 

I'm personally extremely helpful to others, and I have seen other generous/helpful people around still.

It's actually still quite common, unless you spend your time in the GE a lot and see a bunch of dicers/gamblers getting trolled.

I mean, the person I met on RS years ago occasionally helped me with gear and even rs membs twice and up until recently until he quit was nice to just about everyone. Usually, however you treat someone is how you get treated back.

 

There are some nice people in RS, it just depends on if you find them or not

 

I have friends that lend me money all the time because I do it in return at times. If that counts ^.-

 

Im nice. I bought a new member a whip and full dragon not to long ago. And I also have a friend Ive known for years that trusted me with 120m the other day. I guess you could say Im nice due to not stealing it when my whole banks barely worth 60m. lol

 

I've met a couple helpful people on rs, My clan leader's are really helpful, they help me literally transfer bils+ to my mules and they take time to help everyone else, but I have never seen anyone actually buy me something lol.

 

I met someone who lived a few miles away from my town before and also i was fletching in varrock big bank and some random came up to me and asked if i was poor, i said yes because i was at the time and he gave me a black mask, hexcrest and focus sight!

 

I don't quite remember receiving goods as generosity and never really gave back then as I was dirt poor. Right now, if anyone needs help, I go around helping them with supplies and such as 1M can go a long way for others while it seems like nothing to me.

I have always said for quite some time now to any RS friends.

People were alot friendlier the further you go back, shit like that happened more often now it's as you said that 0.001% of people.
