Buy a rare?

Personally I would invest in a rare if I were to be away from the game for months.

 

im only away until the new combat system i out just to give you guys an idea of time scale!

 

then absolutely not. buying a rare would be a terrible idea if your only going to be gone maybe less than a month or so. that is if you intend on selling the rare as soon as you get back and i doubt it will rise in the next month or so, the market is definitely going to be pretty sketchy for a while seeing as this is the biggest update ever. long term a santa would be a good bet but that doesnt leave you with much pocket change for when you get back

 

Rares have a Supply that will never change.
I would only buy a rare if you were planning in holding onto it for a while, 8-12+ months

 

Rares are good for long term but if you want the money soon then you shouldn't buy rares.

 

Buy a santa, then make sure you get on to sell it sometime b4 the combat update cuz most likely people will be mass selling everything, even rares, due to new items coming out in bulk, new stats for nex armors etc.

 

I know very much about rares etc.
I'm trading rares for years now.
The only one who seems to know something about it is nodnarbusn.
Do not buy a santa, h'ween, disk of returning or easter egg.
They are at an all time high price right now. (I check graphs daily).
Especially Santa Hats.
They went from 101M to 113M in 2 days.
Santa mostly crashes at ~120m.
Begin December, people dump their santa's, which causes a crash.
If they crash, they go back to ~79M.
The other rares are similar.
IF you want to invest in a rare; you must invest in a red, blue or white phat.
They recently crashed very hard, but they stopped crashing.
So now they will;
A) Rise slowly
B) Stay stable around this price
An other option is fish masks. (I suggest this)
If you have been watching graphs, you would have seen that Fish Masks rise 200K (!!!) every day!
Conclusion;
Hold like ~20% of your cash in GP and put the others in Fish Masks/P Hats.

RSGP will continue to deflate in order to get around that buying a rare is the best way to go! (As most people have said really )

It's a gamble, I wouldn't take it though personally would be annoyed if the rare I bought had a major drop in price.
