    I created an account, still have the email that was used when it was created, and someone hacked it and has changed the email. Is there a way I can recover the account without knowing the current registered email, but knowing the original email (login name)?

    Theres this part of the Rs Forum that you can ask a mod for a appeal directly from them. Forgot the section just browse around the mod parts

    Does it have any recovery questions? if so use those. Or you might be able to get it back with just old passwords. If you made it a member, try to find the little code they gave you or I tihnk they also give the option to use the last 4 digits of the credit card you used to make it a mem. other than that I dont think so.

    Only way is to email Jagex or make a new acc and post on forums and tell them like when you first purchased your membership in your runescape life or something like that.

    If you don't have the email or someone has registered one on your account your best option is "[email protected]" it is the fastest replying system because it is the most universal staff position (every mod is active in it).

    If your account is a member you will get it back within 3 days, assuming you'be provided the proper details.

    Non members usually get their accounts back in 5-7 days.

    If you need a lock, you can make a new account and post on forums telling them to lock your account.

    In your email tell them you have no history of the email and need it removed, include your recovery questions, date creted, ISP, IP, membership, etc, etc.

    I totally forgot about Jagex having an emailing system. I sent an email with every single details used when account was created, and the last 4 digits of my CC. Thank you guys, girls, so much.

    No problem ^_^

    If for some odd reason they don't send you an email within the 5-7 days don't panic because this is the only method that Jagex has and they have every staff member on it trying to keep up with the emails.
