When was the last time you spoke to someone about the Lord?

I talk to him daily when I pray. What about you guys?

 

every Sunday...

 

It gets brought up in class and in real life, but I don't really talk about it.

Edit: If you're asking whether or not I pray, the answer is no.

 

I have never spoken to anyone about the "lord". Growing up I was not in a religious family, and now that I have moved out I continue not believing in anything religion related.

 

Whenever I say "Jesus" at work to some guy he always gives me the talk about how to not use the lords name in vain...

How is saying that offensive though, Jesus Christ isn't the only Jesus who has existed.. I don't even direct it at him

he does not need to respond to me. he will come back to this world when we are in dire need of his assistance. he knows i believe in him so i am in his good books.

Odin promised to eliminate all of the ice giants from Earth. Jesus promised to eliminate all of the wicked people from Earth. I dont see any fuckin Ice Giants, how bout you?

TV, i think thats just the title, cuz what we're doing here is talking about "the lord" in the thread... but i cud be wrong.

and it seems what we're talking to each other about the lord about is when we last talked to the lord.... lol

I am not much of a praying man. But sometimes I say the odd prayer when things in my life get really fucked up. The lord probably thinks I am a whining, sniveling little bitch though, as I don't usually pray unless I really need something

 

I'm not a big fan of it but I will every once in a while.

 

I do not talk to or about the lord often.

 

I have not talked to the Lord since i was in primary school when the teachers tried to brainwash me into religious beliefs (Christianity).

I however talked about the lord the other day to friend(s), but i can assure it was not in a pleasant manner.

 

If you meant in prayer then never, because I was raised as a Hindu and I abandoned religion altogether at around 12 or 13 I think. If you meant in general, then a few days ago in a debate.

 

I think it would be more appropriate to consider the 'lord' God under the circumstance that not everyone considers your 'God' a 'lord'. What lord or God are you talking about anyways?

 

Alot of what seems to be atheist on sythe You could consider the form of Odinism I follow a sort of atheism i suppose. It believes there is no "god" or "creator" but that man (mainly pointed at norse decent) are the direct offspring of the gods. which from christian point of view, would be atheism as to them, it says "every man is a is the son of god, therefore we are all jesus and no one god should be worshiped as our parents are the gods" but then again I find the christian point of view is often delusional....

 

There is no god or lord, therefore I do not speak to anyone about such an idiotic idea.

 

Seems like me haha. Generally though, my theory is that I'll only bother the lord (if such a higher power does exist) a few times a year at max. I wouldn't want to be greedy.
