Specifying what game it is in the vouch takes like 10 seconds, and that should solve the problem.
It takes a little bit of effort but could save people from losing a lot of money to scammers.
    Support.

I think the vouches should be pointed out for private servers, because then it won't be needed to point out a real runescape trade... both would get to be a hassle for the amount of vouches people currently have.

Yeah I'll give this a support. As you have said it can mislead people and think to trust them with more than they should be trusted with. In my opinion its a minor form of fake vouching.

    Near Reality does.

Either way, I agree. I merch NRGP, and always include what the trade/type was.

Not true, I acculated vouches totaling about 5b-8b RSGP in sales from BattleScape GP when I first joined.

However I totally agree that vouches of those sorts should be specified for users who are multiple sections. Cause if I'm ONLY selling rsps GP, then it should be pretty obvious that's they're all from RSPS sales.

Knowing the history of the trade is great when you are looking at vouches. I agree with the previous posters and something should be done.

Wow 5-8 b rsgp from batlescape gp is alot. Its like what 50-80b bsgp? The thing is, now YOU are doing rsgp stuff making the bsgp stuff misleading if you understand what i mean. Thats why i personally think of this as its not uncommon to switch to something else like rsgp. Also depending how you look at it people might think YOU'RE still selling bsgp so people may think your vouches are for bsgp therefor making it so your deemed less trust worthy that you actually are

AS A SIDE NOTE THX FOR SUPPORT AND OPINIONS AND 1K+ VIEWS LOL WEWT.

I totally agree with this, because there is a huge difference in purchasing/selling 1b in runescape or 1b in a private server like soulsplit. Specifics would be nice.

I agree. Big difference in values and it's misleading. The one being vouched should ask the voucher to specify or else he/she probably wont being new to the forum. Never thought of this. Great suggestion.

Great suggestion, it should be implemented in the rules of vouching.

I don't know, it's a decent suggestion, but I may lead to too many rules concerning vouches.

At the moment I've got a vouch like this:
It's for selling him 100m rsgp, with him going first, but if he doesn't feel the need to post all that in a vouch, why force him to?

If someone has to say the exact thing he traded, he should also say whether or not he went first/OMM used, or what kind of payment method was used.

All in all it's not a bad idea, but I feel like it might be the start of attaching to many rules to vouches. Could always put a link to the actual thread used for the buying/selling/services instead? That way, if the vouch is not completely clear, you can just click on the link and get whatever information you want.

Edit: Vouches are never equal anyway, there's plenty of people with 50+ vouches for services/upgrades or buying/selling very small amounts that haven't really been trusted with more than $10-20. I'm not saying they aren't legit, but you should never base whether a person is trustworthy or not on just a quick look at their vouch thread.

I still stand by what I said earlier. I really think there needs to be some sort of official ruling on this.
