Does jagex know about sythe?

Does jagex know about sythe? Could they take it down? Have they attempted? Any mods admins or regular sythe people know?

I don't think they can, previous legal actions were only about site's names with "rune" in it.

Not for as far as I know, and I have been around for some time.

 

RS probably knows about sythe because its probably one of the biggest RS rwting websites but idk if they ever tried to take it down or such.

 

Silly question. They know all they sites. They aren't secret.

 

of course Jagex knows about Sythe. Whether they really care or not is the question though.

I'm sure they know, but thing abouts sites like Sythe, Pbot, MMOE, etc. Is they don't claim to have any offiliation with Jagex, si there's no type of copyright claim.

Not sure if you're familiar with sites likes "sh*tjagex"(made up name) or other websites like that which actually put jagex in their name. Those websites go against copyright claims because they're claiming to be a part of something their not.

Its kind of like how donators can't request "Administrator" or "RuneScape Moderator" to be their user titles. Obviously its not the same as Jagex knowing about Sythe, but the reason they can't take Sythe down is because Sythe has never claimed to ever be offiliated with RuneScape, Jagex, WoW, D3, etc.

 

They know about sythe. You type in runescape blackmarket into google, and I'm pretty sure sythe is the first thing that comes up.

Yeah, it was a copyright claim on rsbot.
