fish mask will it be discontinued?

In their FAQ thread (I think), they state (or at least predict) that the Fisk mask would not impact on the prices of rares.

However in the past couple days, rares seem to have been dropping in price.

Although rares will always go back up, Fish masks must have clearly had some sort of impact on this fluctuation.

OT: Jagex have stated that the Fish mask will be a new discontinued item (after the Summer season).

 

Current street price is around 1.8m.

 

Hey all you people are going to lose money. Epically...

10 Years ago (yes people still have played since then) Jagex said that "there will be NO (zero) items EVER to be put into the game and still be able for trade after its discontinuance."

The reason all the Masks are tanking is because of this statement and that it has been concluded that there is a 99% chance that Jagex will make the Mask a Fish Flingers Reward after summer...

I had 78 of these masks, and Sold them ALL because I figured "Why would jagex say 'Fuck it, Lets go back on what we have held up for the past 10 years and throw this thing in here'?"
