How much would you value Dicing clans at?

I'm sure people would easily value clans like Dragon Dyce or Cora Dyce anywhere between $20k-$60k. Dragon Dyce obviously being the most worth it, but you'd probably make that back within a few months.

 

Well you guys are saying that its worth around 50k$ I say that is HUGE BS!!! Its is worth around 500k+ if he makes 10k$+ a week that means 480k$+ a year most people make 30k$ a year so yeah if someone were to sell one it wouldn't be worth it for 50k$ because in 1.5months he could easily make all his money back and he has no costs what the max 50$ of net connection he needs and thats it.

 

IMO id'e say Dragon Dyce is worth thousands of dollars, because just by the amount the hosts have to pay every month makes Dragon Dyce himself RICH. So, you really just have to manage the clan yourself and you'd be making MAD bank.

As for other clans, not quite sure as i only have EVER used dragon dyce
(and Fishy some)

it's the fact that it is a very unstable company. Profit could be changed to zero whenever jagex decides to nerf gambling again.

 

You forgot about their IRC dicing which Jagex have no power to stop unless they bring back the old trade limit again. (Which is not going to happen just to stop gambling)

Jagex may nerf flowers, seals and other random generator in game but they can also have a java-base bot scripted just for them to roll numbers in the friends chat.

I do think that the organisation is pretty stable.

 

In a realistic market, it's 10x what the company/business/whatever turns over in a year (I think....).

So probably $1m???

But thats obviously unrealistic since it's Runescape lol. I doubt anyone would ever bid over $20k despite them being a lot more.

 

As a conclusion..

A business that produces a potential $500,000 a year, but has the risk to be shut down and moments decision. Values it low, therefore wouldn't be sold by the owners.

 

To be honest dice clans are as a whole a non sellable buisness as it is mainly a market in which there is too much risk and they are valued at an extremely high price. If they where valued at $1k then yes sure they would be but ofc they aren't because of their profitability.

 

Can someone tell me about all this dicing. I want to know win wise how much is percent in favour of the host.

 

you cant really sell a dicing clan. idk how that would work. if you sell the clan to someone who doesnt have the same integrity, then the clan loses its good name and thus will become useless

 

I don't think anyone buying the clan with their own money will want to ruin the clan. And if it ever happens, it will probably be done undercover, not made known to the public.

 

This is jagex though, would not surprise me. Also it's a game so the owner could just recover the account if he wanted, and I doubt to much could be done about it. The hosts could strike against it, anything could happen.
