Thinking of making a skiller!

What are the advantages? Disadvantages of having a skiller? Any tips? What do i do with my nearly maxed main..?

 

Advantages?

- Looking good
- Possibly making GP off it.

Disadvantages?

- Boring as hell to train
- Continuous grind
- After you max out then what?

Pretty much, it's pointless nowadays unless you like training and all that.

 

i quit making all these different combat accounts to make the skiller i have now and i love it, just kind of relaxing doing skills is really really awesome. you'r not preassured to get higher combat stats, you just relax play music, talk with people....maybe find a good skiller fc or clan to join so you can talk to them while skilling and just kind of enjoy the skills of the game.

I love my skiller, and honistly i doubt ill ever make another combat account.

 

Unless you REALLY like skilling I wouldn't bother, as that's pretty much all you can do and I personally find it boring as fuck.

 

Pro's are that you can be different and impress people, while cons are you have to take the slower routes in training sometimes and you can get killed very easily while training, which can be annoying.

 

Trust me, you will get bored and turn it into something else, like a pure
i just made like my 7th skiller into a pure a few days ago, with 6 99's

 

A skiller is a good account if you only plan on using it to "show off". They are good to just play around on and train, but if you are looking to have lots of fun, combat is usually the way to do it. Keep your nearly maxed main for the combat side, then use your skiller if you don't really feel like playing on your main. If you want to skill and do combat, why not skill on your main?

 

Make a pure instead of a skiller, It's much more fun.

 

Avoid being killed of course, disadvantage.
Lvl 3 skiller is not that cool anymore, make like 99 summ rest 1, or 99 prayer rest 1.
Would be cool if you have 120 dung with like a lvl 3.

 

Skilling can be a hassel. I prefer making a pure all over again. I love pking etc. I love to quest and max out accounts. #bots ftw

 

What's the point... Making a whole. We accound just to train the non combat? You can skill on the account you have now... Skillers really aren't that impressive anymore.. People will look at your account go hmph and move on. Don't waste your time.

 

I'd say go for it, I LOVED my skiller, and I didn't have a main such as yourself to take away the urge to do combat related things so I ended up having to make my skiller into my main today. I'm sure you could be a success since you do have a main for taking away that feeling. Remember to always use a Bow, with no arrows! No matter what the looks for safety!

Disadvantages of having a skiller?
If you accidentally gain a level in any combat skill, it removes value from your account.

Any tips?
Walk around with bow with no arrows to prevent from accidentally attacking a monster

What do i do with my nearly maxed main.?
Sell it, or just keep it and have both.

 

Pointless. IMHO, they're only for looks.

 

Skillers, pures, mains. They're all different types of accounts. Don't make a skiller unless you ENJOY skilling. If you like PKing, PvM, Minigaming that involves combat, obviously don't make a skiller. If your MAIN INTEREST on rs is skilling, then by all means go ahead and do it, but being a skiller can be expensive, ie. Herb, Construction, etc.

 

IMO skillers are the best type of accounts lots of people are suprised when you have multiple 99's But you must love skilling.

 

I have one with 11 99's now and I love it. It is really fun to run around and show off lol. Takes some dedication though.

 

Advantages:
-Look nice
-Bragging rights when you get 99 slayer/120 dung
-Makes my penis stiff.

Disadvantages:
-Harder to travel
-Can't do a lot of quests (Makes travelling harder)
-Trying to make sure you don't gain any combat levels.

Make sure you check what rewards the quests give before you do them. I accidentally did Imp Catcher on my other skiller and got me 8 magic. I have a new one now though.

 

Unless you have 99 slayer or dungeoneering nobody is impressed by skillers anymore because they are so common. I had one with 99 agility and hardly anyone cared lol. Skillers are fun for a month or so ten you get over it. The grind you have to do on a skiller is ridiculous, you can't break up skilling with other rs activities because of your combat level I wouldn't recommend makin one.

 

No advantage unless you actually enjoy skilling. Won't get as much recognition these days with bots being around.
