Coral bolts and crossbow

do you guys think the coral bolts and crossbow will have to be used for the queen black dragon? i really dont want to have to get dragonbane bolts. i really hope coral bolts have to be used but what do you guys think.

 

i hope it will have atleast something against ranged because im 99 thats the only 99 i got lol.

 

You don't have to use them to kill QBD

 

Wait till next week, we'll see what the upgraded coral bow is like (I have a feeling the coral crossbow will work better with the bolts also).

 

That's what I'd assume as well. Its probably going to be like the storm of arma spell that when used with the staff, has an increased speed and other small bonuses. The bow will probably have a special/boost when used with its correspondant bolts.

 

I find it hard to believe that they will make something with such an easy quest on par with SoA, which requires a crap ton of quests.

 

So the crossbow is going to be upgraded next week? Or you need to earn the upgrade?

 

Well, of course they're not gunna make the current crossbow similar to SoA. I'd assume they would give the upgraded one the special effect, which you're going to have to earn the pieces to the upgrade yourself.

I believe they said the monsters will be dropping the pieces to the upgrade.

Okay, so this doesn't specifically mean they will drop the upgrades, but I still would have to think the upgraded crossbow has to be earned. Also, it mentions with some help from Thurgo, which leads me to believe there will be a smithing requirement to get the full upgrade.
