Writing styles for a new Tattoo

Hey, I'm looking to get another tattoo.


I'm looking for some cool yet readable font styles for some writing.

I was curious about this one (the name on his arm):





It looks like Old English?



Does anyone have any cool writing styles that they know of? Or pictures?

 

I've always really liked the Old English style for tattoos, although it has been widely ruined by wanna be gangsters. It looks pretty bad ass though, depending on what worlds you are getting inked on you.

 

Alright I'm going to be honest, the old english styled writing looks good on 'normal' people if you know what I mean. Like on the picture I posted it looks sick because the guy isn't a 'wannabe gangster'.

So if I got it, I'd love it, I don't look like a gangster lol

Oh and it's my last name which is 8 letters long.

 

The area that I live in has many wannabe gangsters, often covered in an abundance of tattoos which include the Old English style gangster text. There is nothing wrong with that, it just ruins it for me as I love that font style and yet people around here seem to associate them with 'gangsters'.

If you like it though then I would go for it, don't let anybody's opinion hold you back. Tattoos are meant to be personal, and for your own enjoyment more than anybody elses, so get what you think suits you and looks good

Btw - the picture isn't loading for some reason, but I imagine it is either on his forearm or inner forearm (these seem to be the most popular arm spots). I've got a couple tattoo ideas and I want them on an inner forearm spot as well

I'm going for it, I just need to wait until I get paid and then I'm going to go for it.

Obviously a mixture between comic sans and papyrus.

Yeah it looks pretty decent aslong as it isn't over done if you know what I mean.
