i remember when whips and gmauls came out they were over priced hard whips 25m+ then slowing to 8m and gmauls the same ,lol it wasa 3 spec wep if any old school pkers remember rofl it was buged and could hit ur max hit or a zero

 

i remember when i bought my first halloween mask for 200k. Shit.

 

I remember when I just started I got an uncut ruby and someone offered to cut it for me and he said that it broke and turned into a "Crushed gem" and became untradeable... Good times. Also, I remember killing someone in a PVP world that had a Green H'ween Mask (only 11M then) and getting like 50K worth of shit.

 

I remember I worked for someone. I had to kill cows and sell the hides to the guy for 60gp each there in the spot. They were 100gp back then >.< saved me the trip to bank without prince ali quest.

 

I remember waiting at the top floor of castle wars for the flag to go trolling with it. Good times.

I like cheap whips. Anyway, if you're a dominion tower addict you can get one pair of goliath gloves per 5 boss kills. And did i forget to mention that goliaths are better than a whip......

I remember buying 1k mage logs for waaaay under the 1m they worth way back when like 600k under.... then realizing afterwards i was scammed and they were willow logs -,- fucking scammers lol

I remember being given like 50m in items by some random person quitting.

I remember selling phats for 40 mil each... regret that now but oh well

 

My oldest memory of RS ever is watching an former friend of mine helping me creating my 1st account and getting it out of the tutorial.

I also remember him playing his acc before that happened, my oldest RS memories ever! Even though I wasn't playing.. I <3 my 1st account.

 

Me and my brothers rs 'GF' gave us full black (g) and got us our first mil, we were so fucking happy.

 

i remember being a noob that would fall for stupid scams. like someone would tell me they would level up my runecrafting for me so i gave them my acc details and they logged in started trying to trade my stuff to their acc. i logged in in the middle of them doing it but they were just like "oh this is part of runecrafting" so i logged off and let them continue until they dropped all my bank. I was very sad at the time even though the best i had was probably like 13 rune arrows lol

 

Some Epic memorys here guys, But im just guuna throw this one out here.. Fally park trading? OMG! They were the days..

I remember looking at people selling barrows and Dragon chainmails were boss.. Like proper cool cats..

 

Two of my fondest memories of RS "waybackwhen" were:

1. On tutorial island where you could get an unlimited amount of bronze arrows if you kept dropping them and asking the combat tutor for more. My cousin and I spent hours getting around 100k+ bronze arrows, keep in mind this was in like 06 so this was worth bank. We were so excited to leave tutorial island and split our profits. We left, and when we spawned in lummy, we had the startup set of 25 arrows and other starter gear. It was DEPRESSING. Lol

2. The first time I ever pked a rune scimitar. Holy hell was that a day. We were around 40ish combat, maybe even lower, I had begun to create a pure with my cousin. He was a range pure, I was a mage pure. We were out in the wildy fighting people and this one guy at our level had a rune scim. In our minds, that was like, "WTF? RUNE SCIM THIS GUY MUST BE BEAST OMG." Little did we know he was a member, who had PC'd his stats and had low ass HP and high strength. We both stepped into the wild, him in low level 3/high level 2, us only one step out into the wildy. My cousin shot 3 arrows at our opponent, and I shot 2 water blasts(water death rune attack.) If anyone remembers, this magical hit had a delay on the damage splat after hitting. The guy saw our hits and began to run, my cousins 3rd arrow hit and the guy was out of the wild, "crap, he lived." *15 dmg splat fro my last mage hit appears(keep in mind this was the max hit for that spell at the time.)* OMG OMG HE DIED OH MY GOD!!! Was it your drop?! No, yours?? NO!?!? We waited patiently for 2 minutes spam clicking the pile for the drop, 2 minutes later a rune scim along with other loot appeared. My cousin asks, "did you get it????!?!" I responded the only way I could, suave as hell, "yep."

Good fucking times...

 

AHH, The good old days. I miss them soo much!

 

I also fondly remember when there was no such thing as a "skillcape".. You could tell anyone you had a 99! Then they would check on highscores.. And you got the dreaded moment when they say "You have 74 range, Not 99" Ermmm.. Awks..
