tribot ogl released?!?!??

i was checking out the forums at tribot, and it looks like they have managed to release a ogl bot. who thinks that thier gonna end up bieng successful?

 

I have no clue, but they have many scripts?

 

I saw in an old thread that they have some tough questions you need to answer when signing up, seems like they only want to have intelligent members on their forums. Considering they're using Java OGL Hooking + Color Detection, which I don't believe have been used together before, it could go either way.

I'll be giving it a go, I don't see it going to become a huge, popular bot like Powerbot, the old Nexus client bots, etc.

 

Tribot is released. Its a OGL bot. There is currently 4 scripts out atm, more will be added soon i presume.

 

well, as far as i can tell, the client lags the least out of any runescape client i have ever used, even the official runescape client. so, im not really sure how well its gonna go. but even if the scripts dont work, im still gonna use the client for just regular playing...lol

 

I think it'll be a great once they finish with the client, they only have like 2 scripts but that because they are constantly adding stuff to the client. I know a few of the scripters from other sites, they'll have plenty of scripts when client development slows down.

 

The questions aren't that hard, though I do like the initiative. More site should incorporate something like this, especially for RS bots haha

 

Well, when I said hard, I mean compared to the questions used on the majority of forums. (2+2, Capital of a country, etc.) Obviously, those questions are used to block bots when this is to stop idiots. You're right though, it probably repels all the guys who are just going to get an easy replacement for Rsbots.net, etc, and don't want to put any effort in. All you really need is a pen and paper, and about 5-10 minutes.

 

The questions really do keep MOST of the trash out since they won't even bother using Google for the answers.

 

I read somewhere that Tribot and Simba might have some kind of partnership, what happened to that?

 

I'm sure you are maybe thinking about the developer of TriBot being admin at simba?
