10M REWARD - Accessing/Playing RuneScape through LAN restrictions

So the bastard that controls my network has added RuneScape to the filtering because they don't like my playing it. I don't appreciate getting treated like a kid at 19 years old.

RIGHT, so, I have tried;

Some proxy's, but was having problems with scripts running in them because very few support it.

When I found a proxy that worked, I got to the login screen only to be presented with the following;

"This game does not appear to be loading from the correct website.

Please make sure you are playing from: http://www.runescape.com/.

Remember to keep your account secure. NEVER enter your password anywhere except http://www.runescape.com/."

TOR does not allow me to play either because of the same limitations on scripts.

Whoever can get me online and playing RuneScape through my network restrictions will get 10 million gold,4 hours of skill training, or, a mixture of the two, completely free of charge.

 

You could just act like you're 19 and give up the game, or accept the fact that you can't play it. Is the person who controls your network your landlord or something? Maybe you use up all of the internet. Going around that will get you in trouble I would assume.

 

If it's been blocked by your network administrator then it's obviously been done for a reason, you're better off going to them yourself about it rather than trying to bypass it and end up getting into more trouble.

 

open a browser and go to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1

usually people don't set a password, so try admin for username and password, then if that doesnt work just try 'password'

if this doesn't work then i'd forget about it, steal your neighbors wi fi

 

I tend to agree with this.

But otherwise, try installing hotspotshield and using that.

 

are you wireless or hardwired?

 

10.0.0.138 or the 192.168.0.1 and if none of them work go

control panel> network connections > Deatails > Defualt Gateway copy and paste that number into your browser and away you go

 

If it is blocked, then it is blocked for a reason. I suggest you speak to the person who blocked it in the first place, they may even lift the ban for you.

 

I'd also be interested to know why they blocked it.

Approach ur admin and convince them that it will be good to unblock Runescape for you.

A few reasons are like Leisure and pleasure etc.

 

Im confused, is the admin your parents, or a landlord or something?

 

Easy, I cant even tell you how many times I've had to bypass blocks my parents set for Runescape when I was a younger.

Cant you steal someones unprotected Wifi? Dont have a net accessible phone(3G)? These things can be hooked to computer and then you can access net through them.

If you dont want to be treated like a kid then dont let them treat you like a kid.

 

Use Aircrack to hack through someone's Wifi and access through there, It may be slow and laggy as there is distance however atleast you can access it.

 

You can download a web browser that automatically hides your browsing. I'm not sure if I am allowed to tell you what it is. Search in google

 

Would using something like swiftkit work?
I know it does for me at my school, they blocked rs but I can play it fine with swiftkit

 

If they set it on your actual router, you have two options.

1. go to your router's interface and change it.
2. Restart your router if you can't get into the interface.
