which would be the best?

okay so im wondering,

should i get full bandos with dragon defender

OR

full bandos with elysian spiritshield

OR

save up to buy a divine spirit shield?


(for a cb 137 main)

 

Elly and divine is useless. unless u nonstop nex or solo pvm.

Personally, i would rather like having bandos + dragon defender because of the max strength bonus.

 

Depends on what your doing.. most PvM I'd say ddf.. places where you need food/healing, ely..

Definitely skip the Elysian unless you plan to stand around at the GE all day and skill or something.

Bandos + DDefender UNTIL you can afford a Divine.

(If you don't PvM a lot, I'd also skip the Divine as well...)

Depends what you are trying to do.

Going off in a tangent, a DFS would be a better alternative to a Dragon Defender as it has 1 extra strength bonus.

 

it depends on what you're doing. if you're doing pvm i'd say ely or divine depending on how much money you have. if you're doing slayer or something combat related where you don't need massive damage reduction then use a dragon defender, hope that helped.

 

If you have the spare cash, Bandos + Ely as dragon defender comes at no cost and you can always switch it out if you like. This is all considering that you PvM a decent amount.

Go and get the Dragon Defender first, it only took me two hours so it won't chew up too much time. See how it goes and if you want that bit extra, go buy a shield.

 

If you can afford, obviously get the Divine.

 

like for bandos soloing would ely allow me to do decent length trip?

(nearly maxed combat (96 def) with yak and ovls and rapier)

Short and simple: yes. Much better than the other options in my opinion, considering you have good stats.

 

Unless you do Nex and Corp alot, go for Bandos + defender.

 

Don't buy any spirit shields, especially if you plan on maxing. Spend the money on your Construction + Farming + Fletching + Slayer (cannonballs + SOA runes for dragon tasks) instead.

 

I would say screw the shields and if you pvm alot go for torva with d def.

 

If you wanna brag, get div
If you wanna look good, get ely
If you want high dps, get ddef
If you want def, get the dg shields (even tho you didn't mention them)

 

I recommend dragon defender.
