Lol I got Muted

for saying "rswalmart" in the game. my friend tricked me into saying it so i do and got muted for 2 days.

apparently its an auto-mute wtf?????????

 

Haha, its only 2 days so I guess its fine. Just look out next time and try not to get tricked in to saying things.

rswalmart is a rsgp gold site, they advertise about 5 people at the g.e per world lmao.

 

If I'm not mistaken, it either is or used to be an auto mute for saying rsbots as well.

Just a way for them to get rid of advertising bots

 

Lmaoo, I had got some of my friend to do it and they kicked my but in school. D: so much for a joke.

 

I got muted for actually doubling money.

I would wear cheap ass gear, Rune boots, rune gloves, full rune with helm of neit. I did double trades and I declined 5M trades (Prob trolling anyway). Then I go to Edgevile and do the same. I say it 1 last time, and give up. I go to the G.E and see something funny. I say something to find myself muted for 2 days.

People who calls me a scammer, I show them my partyhat and gear. I doubled like a total of 100k (2 trades) lol. I didn't scam though.

 

My one and only mute was never explained and i sent emails to every @jagex email i could find. Had nothing on my ban meter OR mute meter it just simply said i was muted for 48hrs . Im still pissed about that and especially now since i have to fuck with jagex over getting my account unfrozen because of "negative jcoin balance"

 

i think rsbots, usfine(pretty sure), Gold4fun, Rsbuddy used to be cant think of any more atm

 

I'm in the same predicament as we speak. I'm muted for another 24 hours at most.

It happens when you are muted manually by a player mod. I will post something about this in the RS forums shortly after my mute is lifted. I've also emailed Jagex, hoping they would take action on that Pmod that pretty much abused his power.

 

Reporting a Player Mod is like reporting a rule breaker on XBOX Live, it's going to take 1000+ reports before someone actually looks at it. Unless a P-Mod is going on a deliberate mute spree, Jagex aren't going to do anything in a hurry. You are free to try [email protected] and state what happened and the name of the Player Mod if you cam remember it. Player Moderator mutes last up to 48 houtrs.

 

I'm not surprised, considering how much Jagex are against RWT sites because of all the Credit Card Fraud that Jagex have to deal with. They also have to deal with hundreds of those Spamming Bots at a time, so making it auto-mutable would save them a heck of a lot of time.

It's 48 hours, just don't get tricked again

 

Chris Archie posted that awhile ago in a video, and I remember when people were being trolled by the masses because the public figured out you would get muted for saying that.

It is just a feature built in to the chat system that helps to identify & mute spam bots automatically, and so alot of the main gold site names that are spammed will get you muted instantly.

 

Yeah ive got muted for saying it, basically if u say it in a members world your gone lol

I tried it on a level 3 and didn't get muted, but I would like to find the phrase so I can trick a certain person I know. If anyone knows this method I would consider paying for it.

Last week I got instant-muted by a player moderator, I was playing still, so I could still talk, but people wouldnt read what I said.
I bet 100M on smokin mils and I thought he was gonna scam because he kept asking me if I wanted hot or cold
