    How do PA avoid chargebacks?

Based off what I've seen on this thread/what I know from using PA, here's my guess to how things work.

PayPal charges back the money off unauthorized transactions, which can be done for up until 60 days after the payment has been made.

First, PA has a few authorization steps when orders come through. The very first order made comes with a phone call to the buyer. This phone call(most likely recorded) simply asks are you user x buying blah off this site. Is this transaction legitimate, yes. This can be helpful for PA in a few ways. First off, this phone number could be the same as the one linked to the users PayPal. Thus some sort of autorization.

Second, I'm fairly certain that when going through Paypal, PA runs your IP to make sure it matches the PayPal account linked to your payment. Unauthorized transactions on PP are done through claiming the payment was made by a different IP. If PA matches the IPs before verifying payment, this again serves as another form of authorization.

Third, PA limits "un-verified" users to I believe $200-$240 spending limit per month, meaning every 60 day chargeback timespan, the max that can be taken is $500. The way to become verified is to send PA a digital copy of a government issued form of ID (passport, license, etc.), and a copy of a utility bill cleary displaying your address and name. With all of this info, PA can confirm the name and address with the PP which can either confirm or deny the users legitimacy and all of that combined with matching IPs and an authorization phone call keepss PA safe, from what I'd assume.

Minus fraudulent cases that R2P has already mentioned.

Thankyou :) I never knew that there were that many authorization steps.
