Money Making with melee

Well...I was wondering if there was anyway that I could make money in rs using melee combat?

I am currently going for 99 att/def and need something to kill that makes money..

I might do slayer, but I really don't like it that much

90 att/def
99 str
93 hp
70 prayer

 

Well, whats your dung level, obviously you can do frost drags if it's 85.

Ankous too.

 

Could get dungeonering up and do frost dragons mad profit there.

I dislike dung...Basically have 39 dung from lamps and such...

i don't seem myself getting 85 any time soon...

tormented demons require no doungeering level, but 80 doungeering is helpful for a chaotic

 

Green dragons/ blue dragons is not bad money at all.

Revs and slayer is good.

Lets see. No chaotics, no access to frost dragons and no turmoil either.

Afk at armoured zombies with piety, prostolyte (sp?) armor, supers, salve ammy, scim+dfs and you will be making a steady 80k-120k p/h while you get 99 attack and defence. Az's are more afkable if you use prayer renewals but it will hurt the profit.

Alternatively, you can camp at waterfiends with dhide and a godsword/sara sword and a buniyp. Here, you will make 70k-100k p/h along with 60+ crimson charms per hour.


Gl training.

 

There are tons of ways to make cash while training combat. Slayer, GWD, and farming profitable monsters like Frost Dragons, Black Dragons, DK's etc. are among my favourite methods.

Also, Ebil above mentioned training at Armoured Zombies. This is one of the best combat training areas in the game, and you can easily average 100k XP p/h here with turmoil and supersets. They also drop lots of little things that add up very fast - large amounts of coins, runes, herbs, regular/oak/teak planks, effigies etc. I personally made roughly 15M there going from 96-99 attack picking up every single drop. It didn't slow down the XP either

 

You could try the Guards at Varrock.
I went there for a while to do Strength and Attack.
They occasionally drop 3 grapes at a time. A full inventory of grapes sells at the GE for around 30k. Just another suggestion.

 

Not to troll but at his stats killing varrock guards would be mind numbing .....
I have really been getting down on giant mole lately you should look into that its a really easy "boss monster" fun to try different methods with or try to use like no pots and drops that are almost the same as KBD as well as drops mole skins/claws you can trade for birdsnests. Barrows is always fun as well i just have shitty luck on the barrows items.. GL have fun ^^

 

Giant mole doesnt drop many charms so its not that good of a "boss"

Eitherways, frost dragons are overrated. With max gear, ovlds, yak and an empty world, 3m p/h is possible but without it, 1.5m p/h is pretty much the highest you can go unless you manage to bank very, very quick.

 

There's always God Wars. If you could fine yourself the funds to get some decent armor and head down to bandos you might be able to make money with some hilt/tassy/bcp drops if you're lucky.

 

Green dragons.

 

Theres always barrows, although tedious work. You can also take a shot at Gwd Bandos with a good strategy you could probably be ok

 

Green, blue, black, iron, steel are all good for making money and xp. Take your pick ^_^
