Yellow definitely looks better. At first, I thought the red was made out of colored paper.

Why ask what people would pay if you'd give them an answer like this. You should be asking if anyone would have any idea on the cost of USPS. Then from there, calculate the material cost and then you can find a price. Once you determine the cost and what you'd like to sell it for, then ask around if anyone would pay that much. Don't forget to take into account how long it takes her to make one, you wouldn't want her making a measly $5 per hour of work she does

My apologies for being ambiguous Apith, I didn't expect so much interest honestly, at least not at first and I didn't want to make promises to people I couldn't keep, haha.

As for the USPS prices, seems the best I can get is the flat rate options (I figure I can fit it in a small box or maybe even a small legal sized envelope because of it's flexibility) and that's going to be like $6 for US, $13 for Canada and Mexico, and $17 for anywhere else internationally so UK, etc........

Thanks for the comments guys, I think we may have to get something slightly less thick than what the yellow is made of because it's very thick fleece and it strained the sewing machine pretty bad she said, she don't want to break it, lol.

That's really cool, did you make them out of felt or some other sort of material?

 

The red one is something similar to spandex (she had some left over from a costume she made) and the yellow is fleece.

 

They yellow one looks more detailed, the red one looks pretty flimsy.
All around, they look fairly decent.

If we buy the fabric by the yard and not in scrap pieces it's a little cheaper but it also takes like an hour or so to make one and I split the profits with her, haha. We are going to the store now to see if we can find a fabric in between the red and yellow hat because the red looks too much like construction paper to me and the yellow looks great but it's a bit too heavy for her machine. I will be making a thread in the other section selling these soon but if your reading this thread and are interested shoot me a PM so I can get a feel of how popular these may become, lol.
