my system is working very slow... please hlep me..

my system is working very slow.... my system have 1.6ghz intel dual core process, 512MB RAM, 160GB HD.. but dont know why it's working very slow.. please tell me what is problem with my system??? and give me some suggestion for solving this problem

Uhm maybe you should try rebooting it and delete all programs you don't need?
If it doesn't work then you might want to try reformatting the system but this will wipe everything out.

That looks pretty old, however I'll just run through a quick list of what you can do to make it faster.

Uninstall stuff you don't want, this will free up space for your PC.

Do Disk Cleanup, this will scan and delete any files that are junk.

Disk defrag, this basically tidies everything on your PC. It can take time to do but it's normally worth the wait.

That's only a few and basic description of things you can do to make your PC faster.
