A runescape hot/cold section

Dicing is dead and the section has been removed but what isn't dead and is growing in popularity rather quickly are hot/cold games referred to as the "flower game". More information here. I suggest a section for this runescape gambling activity for the following reasons:

• Runescape is full of scammers. A sythe.org section would allow for trusted hosts to get their services advertised.
• As I stated previously this is a popular activity in member's worlds and I believe, at this time, that there would be interest in any future section.
• Such a section would allow hosts and gamblers alike to discuss statistics and strategies.

 

I disagree, why make such a specific section?
Imo just stick it all under a larger section. (The gambling/betting section that is suggested somewhere on the front page)

 

That is perfectly fine to have a subsection and that is what I intended to convey with this post. I did not mean to suggest that it be given some sort of front page section :O

I still see more dice games than I do flowers.

 

Hot/Cold isn't actually as big as you're making it out to be.

IRC dicing / Flowers (not H&C) are the biggest contributors to betting that goes on (from what I've noticed), I personally don't see a need to have a section for H&C.

 

Perhaps if a dedicated gambling section is created it should be added there if there is not enough interest for it in the runescape section?

A gambling section has already been suggested. A hot/cold section would be a waste of time. Not that many people are into it. Not to mention scammers will definitely lurk in there hoping to get a few gp off someone. Really no one trusted enough will spend their time doing this, and no one will really trust their money with someone with <25-50 vouches

 

If a gambling section ever appears, this could be implanted maybe.
But as it's own section, No support.
I supported the gambling section, which I do hope will be implanted.

 

There shouldn't be a gambling section, it's hardly flooding RS General....

Subsections don't usually get made because of potential popularity, but rather when topics on that specific subject get out of hand in another section.

 

Not enough popularity I'd say.

 

And I haven't seen much, if any; threads about hot/cold, so no support.

 

I dont think its big enough to make a whole section about it. Maybe the hot/cold hosts could just adv in their sigs like everyone else

No support, im pretty sure, no one uses any other fc for h/c, flowers or dicing, except major ones, in which if you enter their fc in game, theres a load of people playing.

Major ones consists of: Dragon dyce and First.
