1.1 INTRODUCTION

Hello id like to start by introducing myself, im nodnarbusn im new to the forums and would like to start out by contributing. This is my first guide so please bare with me. Like me some of you may wish to double log from two different accounts and find you cannot do it. Furthermore those who have figured out how to double log as its called may have found you cannot log into the same world!!! Well heres a guide to let you do just that.

[NOTE: LOGGING INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS IS A PUNISHABLE OFFENSE AND IS AGAINST JAGEX RULES SO DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.]

1.2 REQUIREMENTS

-The 2 different accounts you wish to log into

-2 separate web browsers (eg. internet explorer, firefox, opera) [note: it is also possible to double log with game client and a web browser that ISNT set as a default]
*NOTE SOME BROWSERS WILL ALLOW YOU TO USE THEM FOR BOTH INSTANCES OF RUNESCAPE RUNNING CHECK BEFORE DOWNLOADING ADDITIONAL BROWSER

1.3 HOW TO DOUBLE LOG

OK so you open your two different web browsers (or client if your using it) and you go to the runescape website and click play now as you do everytime, only on both accounts in the separate windows of the separate browsers. Log in, its as simple as that. BUT WAIT YOU CANT LOG INTO SAME WORLD?!?! well here you are...

1.4 DOUBLE LOGGING INTO SAME WORLD

Go to lobby on the two separate accounts on the two separate browsers and select/highlight the world you wish to log into on both simultaneously but do NOT try to log in yet. Open both of the pages opened to where you can see the "PLAY" button on both maximized at the same time. Now click play on both of them at AS CLOSE TO THE SAME TIME as possible, if you did this correctly and quickly enough you will log into the same world at the same time congratulations have fun double logging!!!

1.5 NOTES

*NOTE SOME BROWSERS WILL ALLOW YOU TO USE THEM FOR BOTH INSTANCES OF RUNESCAPE RUNNING CHECK BEFORE DOWNLOADING ADDITIONAL BROWSER
*(this method DOES work just go make sure you have the separate browsers and log into the worlds simultaneously)

Very nice guide Infact, I might need to double log sometime, and this guide was helpful. It's to the point and says what's needed to be said

I was always use same browser, and I discovered that long time ago by myself. New players gonna use it deffinetly

 

lolo usnavy im not too much of a stickler for punctuation more so spelling, btw i just signed my papers (note the usn at the end of my name ;D)

 

I find it more easy to use the Same browser, and for Windows 7 users, its probably alot easier. In my opinion anyway. But, your method works too. I'm sure you'll receive some Trolls here shortly so..

for some reason i cannot use the same browser then again i use opera so it may be a opera thing -_- a minor cost for a fast safer browser. btw i run windows 7 so if anyone can get around it without using another browser using opera let me know lol

I already knew about this, but its good for the people that didn't. Just a tip, Google Chrome is one of the browsers that you can just open two windows of it and simultatiously log in, so no need for another browser if you use chrome!

Not exactly difficult, all you do is open two RS clients and click log-in on both very quickly.

 

This is kinda common sense :S I think that if you have IE + 1 other browser you can change the java settings on IE and it will allow you to double log in like its nothing.

NP glad i helped some maybe then the people trolling a bit will realize not everyone knew this!! i couldnt find it on the forums or anywhere else for that matter so i had to figure it out on my own just thought id try and save the others the time.
