However, wouldn't it have been more efficient to get a loan to pay the car off even if you have the money , I know when my parents bought my car they told me like its better to use the banks money/ car manufacturers money for longer so you can make more money with the money you didn't spend paying the whole thing off. [ even with interest]

You really don't need that much money to maximize your profit potential trading gold. I still have more then enough I need to trade gold with and I'm not missing out by not having that $15,300 to trade with.

I hate to be the dick of the thread, but you could have bought a much nicer car for 15K. The srt-8, for example. I'm guessing you get around 25 MPG combined right? Personally if I were to buy a sedan, I would have gone with a Mazdaspeed3 or WRX.

However you can't ignore the fact that you at least have a car and it's fully paid off. Not many people know how to live a debt-free lifestyle, cu-doz to you.
