Ex-Mod Rank

There is no section for this more appropriate, so I am posting this here.

Seeing as I am an ex-moderator, I find that it is not reasonable to request for an ex-mod title, nor is it an extremely heavy or radical request. I do realize that I was demoted, however that was over 2 years. I have seen people post "high pardons" and I apologize for any previous actions that may have gone against the site. As you can see, I do not have a desire to trade on Sythe at all currently, nor do I wish to interact with members at the moment outside of Sythe. I do not even have an e-mail linked with my account.

tl;dr = I am an ex-mod. I'd like the rank, pretty please.

What were you demoted for?

 

I leaked what someone said about Daily to Daily, but I was essentially coerced into doing it out of fear of what he'd do to me if I didn't. I messaged Govind since he knows all about the situation and he said he'll be looking into it when he gets the opportunity.

 

I support this but leaking is very big deal.

 

How long were you on staff for may I ask?
Typically all demoted staff don't receive the rank, as the rank shows trust and respect - both attributes that don't really apply to someone that's been forcefully removed.
Also, another precedent for receiving the rank is you must have successfully served the site for 2 months.

Honestly - I will be the first to say I can't support this. Leaking has been, and will always be, a pretty large deal with the staff team - many have been banned as opposed to just demoted for the offense.

 

I was around longer than 2 months I'm quite sure.

As for the trust & respect factor, I can agree with you, however, you can ask Blupig, Megamatt and many other staff members, current or departed, that I am a trustworthy person. These people have me on Facebook, and even have my phone numbers. I realize what I did was wrong, yes, but I must say that 2 years is a long time to mature and develop and if these prominent members of Sythe think I am a genuine person, than so be it. Regardless, I do respect your opinion and I see where you are coming from.
