Is the bot really RsBot/Powerbot or is it a new name?


@Why full screen people.
I think whatever bot it is uses OpenGL, and when using OpenGL I think you're forced to use a bit higher settings than normal. So the downside is that you can run less/use more CPU, but upside is botting via IDs like old times.

 

It's from Timer on powerbot. I don't think it's openGL, that doesn't mean you can't have it full screen though.

To all you guys out there: This bot will have the full capability the previous botclient had. Reflection = no limits.

 

I could've done that in paint, doubt it's real.

 

Timer is very experienced with Reflection etc and knows what he's doing.
I highly doubt it's fake.
Please make me a similar picture in paint.

 

I'd be VERY curious to know how he got around cluster flutterer. Regardless, I'm disappointed that it's only one person working on this...Big projects with only one developer always go under, especially when the project needs to be updated a lot. Let's hope a few others can handle the source upon release so it doesn't die within the first month.

 

RSBot is reflection now? Where are you guys getting this information, I',m pretty sure it's still ASM Injection.

 

Blupig, I think many people have easily gotten past cluster fluster. The problem/reason why no Java bots are coming back is due to legal issues (ImpSoft etc getting sued for so much money). Besides fearing $/Legal damages I don't think Cluster Fluster took more than a few week for developers to figure out/get around.

 

Aren't Jagex threatining to sue? Honestly hope for the best with this though would love to get back into botting again

Its not the first person to get some hooks working,
Trilez had done around 50% of the hooks required for his bot and then said fuck it, to much effort.


Some question I always wondered is, how easy can Jagex do another one of those clustfuckbombs and give the devs a set-back of a few months.

2 Ways;
1 - they hide behind an offshore, Chinese (or Taiwanese watever) company
2 - RSBot is opensource so if they get shut down someone else can just rebrand it and release it again.
