Time Format

I am suggesting that there be an option somewhere that enables the option to turn on and off a 24 hr clock format (military time). The most ideal location for this would most likely be USER CP > EDIT OPTIONS > CHECK BOX UNDER 'ALLOW vCARD DOWNLOAD'. I know some people (including myself) prefer using the 24 hour clock over the 12 hour clock because it is easier to keep track of time easier (for example, checking when the last time you posted). It could also help out foreign countries who use the 24 hour system, and not the 12. Here are pics of how the 24 hour clock format would look like on a thread.

I feel like this change shouldn't be too difficult to imply.

 

If it isn't a hard change, I'd definitely support it.

I am also a fan of the 24hour clock .

 

If it can be implemented easily, I'll support it.

 

I'll support if it's simple. Shouldn't be to hard actually. Just another if statement where the date thing is.

Matthew and Govind have a lot going on with the Vbul upgrade in progress, but I would support it being added to the "to-do" list when they have the time to get to it

 

Support, as long as I get to keep my 12 hour clock.

 

I would actually love the 24h format. Easier bumping. Because after 12 years of school apparently I'm too lazy to count past 12 >_<

 

Well said! Hopefully after all the current updates maybe they can get around to this.

 

With the VB Update coming soon, this sort of upgrade is something that won't happen until possibly after the migration to the new VB. I'm going to close this and what I do is recommend you to bring it back up again after the migration to the new VB version.

Edit: I support it btw. It just won't happen right now.
