Force logged out by Jagex and bank reset

Store as items and you will never get phased ^_^ Don't buy more then 1 of an item.

 

They reset some items that I only had one of, such as arcane stream, polypore staff and some other things. Not sure what I exactly had in my bank.

Runes, some teleport tabs (not all kinds :S), potions, rune armour, barrow armour etc was all reset to 1 of each.

 

i lost 250m from the money you sold me yesterday...

 

They reset your items??????? What the hell is going on with Jagex...

 

Well this was after being reset 3 times on the same account.

Going for a 4th time hopefully I will get all stats to 10 =]

 

Why not just use a different account from now on?

I'm absolutely shocked that they reset an arcane stream. I'm actually in awe. That worries me so much 'cause the only real way to keep wealth semi-safe is through items.

Wow..jagex are really combatting RWT now..Got to be careful when selling gold

 

do you use a vps or your normal ip when selling/transfering the gp/items?

 

I feel your pain just yesterday i got my second reset it was about 650M to 1 gp....fml

 

It looks like there may be a day in Runescape's future where RWT becomes extremely difficult to get away with, and is not worth the risk

I hope it never comes to that, but it looks like for once in their lives, Jagex is serious about trying to fix this game.

 

They're obviously targeting the big traders manually right now. Maybe they'll have some kind of fully automated system in the future, but right now, notice how it's the big traders with hundreds of vouches, and those who trade with them that are getting wiped?

Jagex doesn't have to come to Sythe themselves to find these traders. All they need is a close companion to provide them some proof, and the trader is as good as caught.

I don't know how I feel about Jagex trying to remove RWT entirely, as I feel any MMO, not just RuneScape, needs some kind of operational black market. Older players aren't going to put 100s of hours into a game they don't have time for. I think they obviously know this, but maybe they are going the full length to show how serious they are so if/when Stellar Dawn is released, players won't even think about RWTing in that game?

 

Ouch dude, that would suck majorly. I've never been wiped/rolled back, so I consider myself lucky, especially after seeing this. Good luck making it back.
Although, seems like jagex have been picking up their game with combating RWT. Seen quite a few gold sellers getting wiped, I doubt it will get to the point where it becomes impossible to RWT. RWT in RS is fairly easy to get away with in RS afaik?

 

Well all this resetting has definitely 100% made me not buy any more gold (i only buy for personal use anyways)..

Noticed I was wiped again today, just logged in. They even deleted items completely this time (to 0) in my bank.
Such as godwords etc. I didn't have more than 1 of each. I only lost about 100M anyway.

This was the third time in less than 2 days..

Taking a break atm, if they're deleting even single items there's no point in risking it.

 

o wow, just quit buyin and selling gold lol. i wonder why jagex does this? like for king tjin he got reset 20b thats like 16-17 grand for him, it can seriously ruin peoples lives

 

It's the risk you take when you decide to make a living off this kind of business. You win for a while then when you're finally caught out, you get hit hard on the arse. Plus I'm sure the majority of gold sellers do it as a hobby/spare cash, and aren't depending their whole lives on it.

Either way, it does suck, and sympathy for all those who lost a large amount of money to it.

 

Yeah it can..16 - 17 grand is a lot of money...but then again you can not complain or anything because you shouldn't have been doing it in the first place. Anyway seems like Jagex is taking RWT much more serious than ever. I would advise people to hold it down for a while..

Although alot of people would do it as a spare cash thing..I'm sure alot of people do it as a living aswel considering how much money you can make off it.
