Small trades

Many of us have recently seen Jagex's update against ibot and that they have successfully defeated them in court. Does this bode ill for RWT? Are they beginning to crack down or are at least small trades (as in 200M or less) still a safe bet? What do you all think.

I think less bots will naturally cause a rise in price of RSGP, but besides that I wouldn't imagine they could tell the difference between a 200M RWT and a 200M gift from a friend. Anyone want to share their opinion? Replies are appreciated. Thanks.

Lots of people have been getting cleaned for GP values as little as 20m.

 

I got wiped for 18M in the middle of MMing someone's trade for them. Jagex is cracking down.

 

It's weird and I have no idea what they look at when they rate if this is a rwt or not. But I've been trading around and have no problems YET.

 

I think Jagex is more worried about the amount of gold which was brought into the game by bots. They are trying to drastically lower it disguised as cracking down on RWT. Just a theory but think about it! How can they even tell if it was a donation or someone RWTing?

 

Clearly Jagex has now adopted a no-bullshit policy on RWT. If someone logs in, gives a large stack of GP to another player who they have never had interaction with before, and logs out, chances are that both players are RWTing. You need to be smart if you're going to buy/sell GP nowadays. Don't risk your account for a quick trade and establish a conversation/excuse before trading.

 

I'm surprised about Jagex's crackdown. RWT and botting was their main paycheck previously.

 

Big trades are fine aswell. I think they allso monitor trades with friendlist. I gave bil to friend, nothing happened. Apparently if friend been in list for 2 weeks+ you can trade as much as you want. But id strongly recommend not to trade 200m+ with random people.
