Languages and Experience​

• Visual Basic 6/.NET - 4+ years
• C# - 2+ years
• C++ (non-GUI, can work with glut in 2D) - 1+ years

Pricing​

• Prices range depending on the size, detail, and language of the assignment. VB.NET will be cheapest, followed by C# then C++. VB6 is the most expensive since it's old and deprecated.
• Incremented payments over the course of my coding period may be necessary. Upon discussion, you and I would set various "checkpoints" where I'd hand in the expected product to date and would receive the incremented payment in return. This is to avoid clients backing out at the last minute after I've spent hours on a program.

Extra Info​

• Full commenting of source costs extra.
• Releasing the source to the public requires both my permission and a release fee (also varies depending on the scale of the program).
• If I am developing a commercial application for you which you are releasing/making available to the public for money, then I will require 15% of each successful sale or just a general release fee (general release fees vary depending on size of the program and the price you're selling it for - the general release fees tend to be fairly high since it is a one-time cost as opposed to an ongoing 10%)
• Revoking my relations and licenses of the application (special licensing, development rights, copyright, etc.) will require a release fee which also varies depending on the original price we agreed on for the application. It's generally fairly high since I don't like that I don't get credit for something I worked hard on. For instance, if the cost was $50, your release fee could be as high as $20.
• Pricing may fluctuate if you require me to learn something new, depending on how long it would take me to do so.
• You CANNOT tell me to add more onto the program other than what you tell me after we've already agreed on a price, unless you're willing to pay for the extra features you want added.

For us non programmers, what exactly can you do? Might need some coding done depending on what you can do.

How much is your approximate price ? Do you do like c programming itself for like LCD display ?

 

Since software varies so much, I couldn't tell you right off the bat. If you want, feel free to ask for examples of software and I can gives you quotes. If you're talking about programming the firmware for a monitor, then no, I can't do that lol.

 

Have you successfully sold any programs that you have designed to users in the past?

 

Yes, my most memorable piece of software that was sold was a parsing tool made for the Canadian government to parse through emails, using regular expressions to snatch specific fields (the email was generated from a webform) then pumped into a single Excel spreadsheet.

You sir need a bump, with what you stated above about what you made for the can. goverment how much did they pay you out?

 

It was a relatively small project and was only temporary for some kind of promotion thing they had going for immigrants or something, so only around $120. That's about $30/hour of work, not bad imo
